The Delta Ridge Down Jacket leverages the ultra weight advantage and the supreme warmth that only down fill can provide. Super light and yet made for men, this jacket takes that down fill warmth advantage and incorporates a water resistant shell, lined with our Omni-HEAT™ reflective lining, for the perfect blend of heat retention across a wide range of outdoor climates, mild to very cold. The 650 fill power down insulation works in concert with our breathable thermal lining, to create a great wearing coat. Zippered side pockets keep your small items secure (including your hands when the outdoors get extra cold). The water resistant fabric, heat sealed construction with binding at the hem, collar, and cuff keeps your down loft in place, and you protected during most anything Fall or Winter can dish out. This winter jacket is available in many accommodating colors and sizes. Available in extend sizing. Active and Regular Fit. To ensure the size you choose is right, utilize our sizing chart and the following measurement instructions: For the sleeves, start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder and down to the sleeve. If you come up with a partial number, round up to the next even number. For the chest, measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level. Imported. Made from 100% Polyester. Insulation: 650 fill power down, RDS Certified. Zippered closure. Hand Wash.

Much better than TheNorthFace thermoball
I did a lot of research on the jackets before buying one. I keep thinking “bu t the northface thermoball is more expensive, it should be better” .... but no. IMO this Columbia jacket is much better, it has better insulation and design, materials are of excellent quality, and they have Omni-heat tech, the NorthFace feels like it’s a $30 dollars jacket with a logo. I didn’t mind spending the 200 on a northface jacket but I just couldn’t wrap my mind around that this one was just better. Super warm. The size runs a little small check sizes before you order.

Extremely lightweight, mediocre isolation
Great jacket for mild weather conditions, very lightweight. However, once the temperature drops below 8-10 Celsius it is just not enough to keep you warm. Also, water repellent properties are limited (maybe 10 minutes of rain, not much more), and wind isolation is mediocre at best.On the plus side, it looks great, folds easily (great for traveling), and product quality is quite good.

very happy
I was looking for a light winter/fall jacket and I think this is going to work very well. I tend to run warm so I typically wear a light fleece jacket for most of the colder months (I live in Michigan). I have been looking for something a bit more stylish for quite some time. I am also a bigger guy so I was worried about ordering a "puffy" jacket because of how it might look when I was wearing it. This jacket is not too thick but is plenty warm enough for me. It also looks very good!As a side note, the price seemed to drop $45 2 days after I bought it so I called customer service to see if they would be able to refund me the difference. Unfortunately they couldn't but the nice customer service person suggested that I could just return the jacket and order a new one at the lower cost. I found this to be an acceptable solution especially since we can apparently return Amazon purchases at Khols now. There is a Khols right next to where I work. It sounds like I just take the coat in and give them the return number that the customer service person emailed me and I"m all set!

The Zipper is poor quality
I was pleased with the lightweight warmth of this jacket. It is also an excellent windbreaker. Just after the "returns" window closed with Amazon, the zipper began jamming frequently. At first I was able to un-jam it, but now I have to slip this jacket over my head. It is VERY disappointing.

Great Jacket for hiking
Bought this specifically for some hiking trips we have coming up, most notably Glacier National Park. I wouldn't say this jacket is capable of keeping you warm in subzero by itself, but it worked great on 35-40 degree start temps for some local hiking. Wasn't very far into the hike and I was warm enough to remove it and get down to just my sweatshirt. Packs well in my Osprey Talon pack. Little weight at all.

Probably my go to…
From now on. Still love my carhartt fs but that’s heavy duty/comfy. This this is lightweight/comfy.I absolutely enjoy this jacket. It looks great, fits great and the warmth with the omniheat is awesome. Oh and yes, the Omniheat does run the length of the arms. It keeps you warm but does not over heat. Columbia had figured out how to keep you warm yet not weighted down. The only downside is the lack of pockets. Kinda sucks but they seem to have made the inside pockets relatively useable. Regardless, just a great jacket.I also have the vest version. Ha, no arms. It’s great.Cheers.

Light but warm
I love this coat. It's light, but warmer than it looks. I've been using soft shell coats with no insulation and adding a fleece for lower temps over the last several years. This coat is light, easy to move in, but adds some insulation in addition to being rain/wind proof. I expect it to cover me in all but the coldest days of winter. The blue color really pops as well.

Not warm at all (fake?)
Not convinced this is the real deal so thin lite and hardly any filling in the jacket I have tried it in moderately cool temperatures 1-4 degrees C and no heat retaining quality at all ! In fact I could feel the cold on the inside of the jacket

Not what it's worth!!
Being a premium brand, the quality of feathers used is quite substandard. Brown and grey feathers kept popping out and the stench coming from the body and sleeves were intolerable. I doubt down feathers are being used. The jacket is unreasonably priced given the quality. All technical jargon such as "heat reflective technology" etc, are gimmicks or I would rather say click bait. After all, it's a just a down feather jacket and not some NASA or ISRO space suit. Don't get swayed by the marketing and sponsored listings. For extreme temperatures, buy North Face or RAB merchandise.

Careful inspection necessary
I wear it over an inner and the warmth is good enough for 8-10 degree Celsius Delhi winters. It’s thin and very light weight too.My only complaint is the feathers are popping out every now and then. Please inspect very very carefully upon arrival. That said i’d buy it again for the right price i.e, 5K -6k.As far as fit goes , I’m broad shouldered and little overweight and it can comfortably fit in 2-3 layers of clothing.Overall a quality product with is not too bulky looking.
