**Q: Will this work with Vonage?**
A: No.  Vonage ships this unit to their customers with custom firmware on it.

**Q: I have a skype account and telephone number, will this support calls in and out with the old analog phones?**
A: I don't know if Skype offers a VOIP service.  This device is a supported device for Vonage VOIP service connecting to an analog phone.  I've only used Skype on a computer with a camera and microphone.

**Q: Does this require a wired connection to the network or does it support a wireless connection too?**
A: No wireless support, you need a physical ethernet cable.

**Q: Can i power this from a 12v dc battery by running a cable directly from a usb port that the battery powers to the micro-usb socket on this device?**
A: You could use a car-type 12v to 5v usb adapter. Not 12v directly.

Works perfectly converted digital line to analog for FAX connectivity. But it works for analog phone lines too.
