An artistic educational enjoyable book for all ages!!!!

The drawings are whimsical for kids to enjoy and there are actual paragraphs (not just words or one line) with interesting info about the animals. I expect my child will enjoy this book differently as he grows older.

Maybe I missed the book dimensions it is about 8x5 inches. Each page of the board book had facts about an animal written at the 2-3 grade reading level. there was no continuity between the different animals. I thought that a board book was going to be written at a kindergarten level.

THERE IS NO GREAT STORY LINE IN THIS BOOK AS IT IS GEARED TOWARD THE PRE-SCHOOL AGE, BUT THE COLORS AND ILLUSTRATIONS ARE VIBRANT AND BEAUTIFUL. GREAT FOR THOSE LITTLE ONES WHO LOVE COLOR AND DETAIL.

This is a stunningly illustrated book which is informative and entertaining.Wildsmith is a very accomplished artist, I don't tire of looking at his artworkThe type face is also child sensitive as the sans-serif means the children can recognise it and practice their reading skills.The small card board format makes it a really nice object in itself.
