Review: A good case for commercial environments - I bought this to replace a plastic Pi case that cracked due to being dropped. It's well built and feels like it will last. My only issue is the spacers don't allow for the POE hat to be screwed on, it relies on the pins to keep it together. Review: Perfect fit for my Raspberry Pi 4 with the PoE HAT - I set up a Home Assistant server on a Raspberry Pi 4, so I wanted to be able to mount it on a basement ceiling joist, out of harm's way. I used PoE to bring Ethernet + power to the Pi. This case is just the right amount of robustness for a working installation like mine. I used zip ties to fasten everything in place.

Not for use with POE or any Rpi Hats...
This case is NOT compatible with the Raspberry Pi OEM POE Hat. The screws that come with this case do not work if you are using a POE hat or ANY hat for that matter as they want you to screw it into the case from on top, but on top is where you need your hat support risers to be screwed in. On top of that, mine arrived with the box smashed pretty good as Amazon just tossed inside of a bubble envelope to ship it and it was subjected to much abuse along the way.

great case, minimal size
So, let me tell you about this case for the Raspberry Pi 4. It's pretty simple, but it gets the job done. The case is made with a steel cover and an aluminum base onto which the Raspberry Pi board mounts. It's a sturdy little thing, and I've been pretty impressed with its durability so far. One thing I really appreciate about this case is that the cutouts are really neat and tidy. There are no sharp edges or burrs like you might find on some of the cheaper cases out there. Plus, the port names are silkscreened on the side, which is a nice touch. And the ports are clearly labelled so that is definitely a standout feature in my book. When you buy this case, it comes with screws and small rubber feet, but no standoffs. That's because the four screws that hold the Raspberry Pi 4 in place sit atop four pre-threaded aluminum standoffs that are actually a part of the bottom half of the case. It's a pretty clever design, and it definitely feels secure once everything is screwed in place. All in all, I would say that this is a really precisely made, high-quality case. I've been using it for a while now, and I have to say that I'm pretty impressed with how well it's held up.

Decent case, but hard to integrate with hats.
This is a very sturdy case, but the way it is set up to mount the RPi board with installed, threaded standoffs, it means that you will have to find appropriately sized, male-female threaded standoffs to mount the hats.
