Does the job but be careful about power
Good quality, but depending of power you might need additional power to compensate (that's why there's a plug for that).

Running Steam VR Games using full 8m cable without any problems
I am using this pair of USB C cables to connect an Oculus Quest 2 to a PC, in order to play games via Stream VR. It comprises of a 5m long USB extension cable and a 3m long USB to USB-C cable. I was concerned by reports that using a cable longer than 3 meters will cause connection problems.I decided to buy this product because I am able to run the 5m cable from my PC, up the wall and along the ceiling, to a point directly above the VR playing area. From here I am able to connect the 3m cable from the ceiling to the Oculus Quest 2.Initially I used a USB 3.0 connection on the front of my PC case. This did not provide a consistent connection. I then switched to one of the USB 3.0 connections on the back of my PC that was directly connected to the motherboard.Since doing this I have had no connection problems at all. I have played Boneworks and Zero Caliber VR for periods of over an hour without any connection problems. (FYI: USB 3.0 sockets are blue rather than black).

Works fine with Quest
I was dubious the cable would work. 8m is too long, and the extension has a power socket. Looked dodgy. Any other USB 3 extension I got made the Quest barf. Not this one. It's a thick cable (both cable and extension), so likely going to cope with tangles and pulls. The power socket is completely irrelevant and non-functional. I did speed tests with and without, and it's the same. The cable that comes with it is also pretty good. Better than another one I was using for the Quest. The speed I got from the Oculus test was 1.8GB (vs 1.5GB previously), which was good enough to cope with an hour of playing multiple games, including Alyx. The extension is so long that I pulled it around the TV and shelves, into the ceiling light, fastened with a velcro strip. The cable is plugged to the ceiling and dangles down, allowing me 360 degrees of freedom without pulling me back. I just need to find the right height to avoid strangling myself. :)Some people said there were audio and speed issues. I found none. From booting the machine to playing the game it took me a minute or two. I honestly can't fault this cable.

Doest he job for Quest 2 and plays 90hrz connections with the new upgrade
I bought this fur the Oculus 2 and was dubious whether it would work but so far so good. It's not the lighest of leads and the official ma be lighter but it dies a job. I've also changed the settings on link connection to 90hhz so it carrys there signal fine.My gripe is not with the lead but with the oculus 2 in that the position fir the connection fir the lead means its hanging by your face rather than from behind. I know there are ceiling hooks to rake away the tether but without it's a pain to use.

Actually works with Oculus Quest 2
This may be an expensive cable, but it has finally enabled me to link using USB-3 to a Quest 2 VR headset. Other cables I have purchased have failed to do this, reporting only USB-2 connectivity. The two halves of the cable pair are different in thickness. The extension cable is heavy and thicker, but this presumably provides extra durability. The cable that plugs in to the headset is about 4mm in diameter and is workable in use. It is noticeable (the weight) when in use but such is life using a cable.

Worked straight out of the box
Had an official Oculus Link lead, but the USB 3 C did seem to fit firmly into the GPU and would come out. Purchased this and worked with no problems in existing USB 3 A on motherboard

Works as intended and significantly cheaper than the official cable
Works brilliantly and functions as advertised with Oculus quest. When I initially bought this cable I thought I should have paid more for the official cable as it didn't work only connecting at USB 2.0 speeds but I have since upgraded my pc and found my old USB compatible ports and graphics card were not up to the task. It now works really well and the extra length is useful. I have had Half Life Alyx running through this with no issues at all.

Works perfectly with Oculus Quest Link!
I'm playing the most demanding game of all, Half Life Alyx, using just a modest PC with a i5 & GTX 1650. It plays just fine on medium quality. Need I say more?Initially, I was a bit worried cause there is a 5V power socket on the 5m cable, but no cable/adaptor/charger for it. Apparently it's not needed and it works fine without extra power.A cable management with pullies is highly recommended! I got https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07VPVWNHV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and its worth every penny!
