Belgian Chocolate Seashells, 22 Pieces Hazelnut Praliné, 8.82 Ounce

This was one of my favorite chocolates growing up, and I hadn’t had it in years! I randomly thought about it and honestly didn’t even expect to find it on Amazon. I’m so glad I did it!! Tastes exactly how I remembered. The hazelnut praline is smooth and rich, and the seashell design is still just as aesthetically pleasing. It feels a little nostalgic opening the box. Only downside (and this is important): be careful when ordering in warm weather. I gifted a box to a friend, and because it was warmer, half of the chocolates arrived melted. So I’d recommend ordering when it’s cooler out, or making sure you can grab the package right away. Chocolate itself? Easy 5 stars. Just plan around the temperature!

These are some of the best tasting things you’ll ever put in your mouth. Guylian got it so right, the seashells are perfection. I got these all the time growing up in England. The cost is crazy these days, seems harder to find them. I remember the days of paying $8 box and then $10, then $12. It’s hard to find them under $20 these days. If you do they are totally worth it. Can’t wait to get more again. Mouth waters thinking of them.

Hands down the most delicious chocolate out there. It's addictive. But then again I love the taste of hazelnut praline. I live in CA and it can get hot here, so I was a bit apprehensive to buy it online. However I cannot find these Belgian Chocolate Seashells from Guylian anywhere in the stores. Then to my pleasant surprise when I opened the Amazon box I noticed that is was packed in an aluminum colored bubble bag with 2 "one time use" cooling bags. Thank you so much! All the chocolate pieces arrived in tact.

I used to buy these 3 tier boxes of these truffle chocolates! A friend of mine, had them imported from Germany. Back then over 25 years,ago, a 3 tier box cost $5.00! There were 3 tiers of 60 chocolate seashell and stars and sea horses. Goodness they melted in your mouth. here we are a vile time in mans history, the cost of these chocolates, have shrunk in packaging and size of the chocolates. The name remains the same, but the inside are the chocolats. My first box 8 ounces. They contained 10. Though pricey like no tommorrow, I bought them. I was gobbling them up. I couldn't help myself, I ate that box up in 15 minute. So I ordered a similar kind same 8 ounces but though box Saud From Belgium, the taste was not the same. Fast was gritty, no taste. It was chocolate but nearly any hazelnut mixed in the chocolate. I have the 2nd box to a friend. 2 boxes were $14.00 plus tax. So then I ordered a bigger box package. I open the container box where the guy main box was sitting in. I was shocked. The package had already been opened. The paper lining had been off. It was scary, like who opened this package up? I ate one, oh my it was delicious. I checked all the chocolates. They were fine!!!! If you truly want a treat get Guylain. They are not cheap by any means. Buy small and work your way up. So far I have had 2 different sets, the fake made in Belgium for under $15.00 and two (1) for $17.00 and last week tried the package kind for $3.00 more. These scared me cause package was already opened. I have looked else where and Aldi and or Lild,DID carry them. But by the time I found out, the shelves were empty. Yrs ago Sams club carried the 3 tier boxes. But no more. I highly recommend these chocolates. Very pricey though.

Really delicious. The shell shaped chocolate is really captivating, however the foil and stay cool packing didn’t preserve the chocolates. They arrived somewhat melted. I couldn’t serve them to others because they were misshapen or melted into another candy piece. I have had to keep them for myself…a double edged sword.

They are cute and the chocolate seems to be pretty good. Just disappointed how they are delivered. No cooling packaging so they stop from melting. They sat out for only about a hour before I could get home and they were mostly all melted. Luckily I only need 4 shells, others are unusable or editable. My recommendation is maybe not get them in the during warm seasons.

These chocolates are unmatched. Hard to find in stores, these have a unique hazelnut taste I've never had anywhere else. Packaged well (insulated sleeve and ice packs), arrived intact and not melted despite it being a hot day. Ships from NY. The bulk pack (12x larger) is a good choice if it's available.

Those are my favorites. Can’t find them here anymore. Usually way over priced. There are decently priced to get my favorite chocolates. Problem is I can’t stop eating them.

This brand of Begian chocolates is my sons favorite. He wont eat any other brand. They are also very hard to find in stores here. I am so happy Amazon has these. They are for his birthday on Sunday.

My fav. For some reason it’s discontinued and I can’t find it anywhere in my city but found it on Amazon. Didn’t come melted. But it was priced more then what I am used to spending. Definitely a novelty
