Such wise and sinetines witty sayings!
This is suxh a delightful book. Pick it up anytime for a quick lift or longer read—with your tea and your marmalade sandwich, of course!. The Queen was privileged, to be sure. But she experienced the world and our times like no other. Handled death and disloyalty, was a mom and wife, and kept a steady course through most of it—setting an example for many. These quotes capture her essence pergectly!

She has some good ideas she followed through her life.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It has some of her positive and some did not work out too well as she met people and got into different situations. She learned a lot from her father though neither one was prepared for the position they found themselves in.

Fun compilation of quotes & stories
I really enjoyed this book & it arrived early and in excellent condition as well. The Queen takes her position very seriously and book shows ample evidence of that and the wonderful sense of humor she has and needs to handle everything that gets thrown at her. It must be nerve racking to have everyone so eager to judge & rip apart every expression and comment you make. It was interesting to see that as serious she is in her position she also doesn’t let that go to her head. She comes through as down to earth and very real while accepting her position in history. I really think my favorite part is her cover photo.

Good
A good movie, even though it’s like a cut and dry of what I thought.

Nice, easy read.
Queen Elizabeth II’s Guide to Life is a delightful book fun of vignettes which give insight into the daily life of British royals. It will help you understand why they do what they do. Royals always seem so glamorous living their luxurious lives, but they really are very practical and down to earth. They understand they are servant leaders living of taxpayer money and are careful to be respectful of that wherever possible. If you enjoy books about royalty you will enjoy this book.I do have a complaint. The book is listed at 160 pages while my book as 192 pages. Strangely the books have the same ISBN. I wish someone would clear this up. I have asked and gotten no reply. Was the book expanded? Condensed and I have an earlier copy? This is messing with my Goodreads, which is owned by Amazon, page count. It would be nice if someone would explain this to me. Otherwise it is a great book. Enjoy it.

One of the Greatest Generation being great
Interesting look at the Queen, and her not- so- suprising sense of normalcy. Her Majesty was one of the Greatest Generation. They were taught to simply get on with it. And she does. Only thing I noted, was the author should be more aware of metric conversions. On page 107, it's stated the Queen had a temp. Of 101°C. At that temp., her body and brain wouldn't be functioning. She would be dead. 101° Fahrenheit more likely?

Interesting Read
I found this little book interesting and amusing; there are some antidotes which made me smile as I can imagine Her Majesty saying them with that special glint in her eye. I would recommend this book.
