Works as advertised
I have a commercial hunting operation and need a feeder with a large hopper. We use many gravity feeders but are trying some spin cast feeders in a few locations. I tried this unit out because it is reasonably priced. I use a 12v batt and set it up with a 10w, 12v ( solperk ) solar panel ( cost 50.00 ) . The unit is easy to set up and operate. It throws feed thirty feet or so. I have a three inch opening in the hopper so it throws out a lot of feed in 30 seconds. The panel keeps the batt at 100%. I have it feeding three times a day. The box is Chinese junk with a junk latch but it seems to do the job. We are monitoring it with a camera and checking it often. If it continues to work as well as it has so far we will buy a half dozen more.UPDATE. The first feeder we purchased has been in operation for three months now without any issues. The solperk solar panel ( purchased on amazon ) keeps the 12 volt batt at 100%. I just ordered two more units and will buy more in the future.

Well built feeder, great price!
We have over 20 feeders running at our ranch in TX, with a variety of feeder motors/timers. Most are made out of old 50cal ammo cans, and the space between the funnel and spinner plate can’t be adjusted. This set up looks well built and looks like it will be easier to adjust, and I like the way the spinner funnel and plate are made and fit together. I think it will be easier to set it so the feed doesn’t blow out in hi winds.

Awesome
I have used several other brands for feeder control in 6V. This 12V monster spreads like no other. I have found the game stays around longer foraging as compared to virtual eating from a pile. I purchased second and am planning on a third. Beware there is 10 sec delay before the spinner plate fires for a good reason, get out of the way at least 25 feet!

Excellent Product
I've had two in operation since 2017. These things are battery sippers I live 6 hours from my deer lease, so I don't get out there very often. I replace the batteries about every 6 months, but they really don't need to be replaced. Usually, they will still have 12.5-12.6V remaining, when starting at 12.7-12.8V.The timer has lots of flexibility and are easy to program. I have had ZERO issues with the units that I am running.UPDATE: Down graded rating from 5 to 2. The first two that I bought had excellent battery life, but the second two suck the batteries down very quick. Not happy at all. If you buy these, get a solar panel.

Easy to program
Only using it on low speed at a height of 10' easily scatters grain in a 25' to 30' diameter. Works great so far

Vague directions
Lot you're going to have to do on your own here vague directions, mismatched connectors, different color wires, no battery cage ect... hope you're handy. Only reason I saw it through was steel housing tree rat proof
