Fast easy and compact. It gets the job done for my Air Rifle.
Very compact and easy to use. Just started to shoot air rifles so I did some research on how to clean and maintain them. Recently purchased a Hatsan flashpup QE that was a reverb. After trying to zero the rifle I decided that it must need a cleaning. I have plenty of options for firearms but none of them would be correct for an air gun. Found that this was highly rated so I decided to get one. In less than 10 minutes with the held of a plastic drink straw I had the bore cleaned. Pulling 4 of the patches threw the barrel did the job.

Great all round barrel cleaning tool
Maybe a little pricey for what it is, but an excellent cleaning option. For 177 barrels, just use fishing line. Your patch has to be the right size. Too big and pulling it through can be impossible. Too small and it won't scrub the barrel clean. Prevents rifling damage that you can get from a rod, but do wipe the whip clean between passes. Small, light, and easy to keep with you in the field. Use a straw to get the line to pass through a modifier.

Works great!
I recently bought my first PCP air rifle and discovered that trying to run a cleaning rod from the chamber to the crown is not possible. I always run my cleaning rods forward through the barrel. That's the way I was taught, and it has served me well with all my rifles. I started doing some research and saw the PatchWorm being used in some YouTube videos, so I ordered one and gave it a try.I have a short 30 yard backyard range and I was consistently shooting one hole ten shot groups at first. And then all of a sudden, I wasn't. I was getting flyers that were gradually getting further and further from the center. Like I said earlier, this is my first PCP rifle, so I was shooting several different pellet brands and weights to try and find the best for my particular gun. Originally, I assumed the accuracy was from the various pellets so, I kept shooting. I'm not burning gun powder down the barrel, so I didn't even consider the declining accuracy was from a dirty barrel. I wasted a bunch of pellets until I realized the earlier accurate pellets were erratic also. I finally decided to clean the barrel and problem solved, ten shot one hole groups again. So far it has worked quite well, and I am completely satisfied.

If you've got a PCP or other, Airgun, this is a required piece of equipment
If you've got a PCP or other, Airgun, this is a required piece of equipment so you can clean the barrel from the pretend to the muzzle. Never put a cleaning rod in the muzzle end of an era gun. Always clean it from the bridge to the muzzle with a patch using the PatchWorm
