Very productive, finicky germination (tips)
These plants are incredibly productive. You’ll get so many tomatoes that are perfect for sauce and canning. Bear in mind that they are sweeter than romas.I’m seeing people who say these won’t germinate. That’s understandable, since SM tomatoes can be very picky about temperature. Make sure you have a seedling mat and/or heat lamp while germinating, because these plants LOVE HEAT. I’m in KY and I got 100% germ rate with heat mats in line-March. I put them under grow lights (LED T5 replacement bulbs) and I covered the planting bin in clear plastic to help keep moisture and heat in. Yup, I used a clear storage bin, at first it was shoebox size but as they grew I used storage totes lined with foil to reflect the light. If you keep the seeds warm, they will germinate.Start them in 3” pots. Then, when the plant has two sets of leaves, tear off the lowest set and plant them deep (so the dirt covers 0.5” to 1” above the area that you just tore off) inside half gallon pots or grow bags in order to encourage a more vigorous root system.Again— keep the soil hot, around 80f and they’ll germinate and get very strong.

Good yield
Planted 16 seeds in my starter tray, got 16 sprouts, and I just transplanted 16 sprouts into 6 inch pots last week. Very impressed with the yield and uniformity. They all sprouted within 2 days of each other.

Great germination rate! Almost 100%
Great germination rate! Almost 100%, plants are thriving, but of course that has to do with how we are taking care of them. The most important thing is that seeds were in good shape, packaged for the year I purchased them and they had better than average germination rate!

Slow to germinate
After three weeks in the warm California sun they finally germinated. Very surprised how long it took.

ALL germinated, huge plants, tons of tomtoes
Fantastic plants - we just ate our first BLT - we are growing them for making sauce but coudn't wait to try our first tomato. I planted 4 seeds, 2 ea in a seed started, all 4 came up. I thinned down to 2 because I am growing hydroponic and dont have the room for much more. (Boy am I glad!)We bought these because San Marzanos have lower acid, and my Italian friends say they are great for sauce - thats good enough for me.Moved them to the hydroponic after they got about 3 " and they have been KICKING BUTT. Over 120 tomatoes on 2 plants, most are still green but they are turning. If you don't know much about tomatoes, pay attention: these are indeterminate - they will produce fruit all summer. This also means they are like a vine - they keep growing and growing and growing and you need to know how to prune. Mine are now about 6 feet talland4 feet wide EACH.I feed them Flora Grow A and B, add Cali Magic (for calcium), Hydrogaurd (to prevent root rot in the hydroponic) and also Silica Blast to give the plants lots if strength. I also use fans lightly blowing.AND - Im still on the first seeds, and my 7 subsequent plants are clones from the suckers from these 2 plants, I still have a full pack of seeds!I am hesitant to buy seeds unless they are reputable - who wants to go to all the trouble only to miss the planting window?

Fast growing -100% germination so far
Having planted 8 seeds, all 8 of them have germinated. First four took about 2-weeks and 2nd set took 1-week when using a heating pad. If you are are having trouble, try keeping it someplace warm and dark until germination. After germination, the plants grow quickly. Have yet to mature to produce but so far they are doing great.

Not one germinated
This was a complete waste of time. I am an avid grower. I even bought the same tomato from another brand with much success. This however was a disappointment. I nearly used all seeds and not a single one germinated

Possible cross pollination issue?
I got rid of the other tomato varieties I've previously grown before growing these. The plants were isolated, so possible pollination from tomatoes (possibly) grown by neighbors is minimized
