Excellent cover for your dog kennel
I ordered this on June 21 and installed it as a cover for my dog's kennel on June 24. I hoped that it would serve the purpose of providing protection from the rain, sun, and heat found down here in Texas. I have been thoroughly impressed with the quality and strength of this tarp since day one.I won't review the size and dimension problems that others have mentioned. None will be perfect or the same apparently. If the exact size and grommet location is of the essence for your situation, you might do some research elsewhere, BUT if you're looking for a bad ass, high quality, tough as nails tarp- then look no further! There was only one pic to view in the description when I added my two. Their description pic shows that there is a black material around the grommets that I think would help strengthen the material and keep it from tearing. My tarp doesn't have this material. But it is strong, nonetheless. My pics show the ice that sat over my tarp and how much was actually on there after I broke it off in chunks and it slid onto the ground. My guesstimate is 150 to 200 lbs of ice that it supported for 6 days. The sides of my kennel are being pulled inward from the weight of the ice on the tarp. None of the grommets ripped out, but I did lose2 of my metal zip ties. lol.Not only has this bad boy withstood a nasty ice storm for Texans, but it has dealt with the constant 100 degree heat of the sun thru this past summer w/o cracking/weathering. And on another note, I would recommend using metal zip ties/straps to secure this if there will be an open area where wind can get under it and make it whip and pop. The weight of this tarp combined with strong winds will snap the heavy duty plastic zip ties fairly easy. And to sum it up, this is THICK, STRONG, and WELL WORTH the money! I paid nearly twice as much for mine in June as it is listed for right now, but it is worth every penny......... and I wouldn't even say that about a penny!

I tried several tarps
Since my barn was hit and destroyed I have tried several different brands of tarps. I have found these tarps last longest protecting my equipment. They work better than the more expensive tarps. I've been using them for two winters in Ohio.

Truly a quality tarp!
I am using this over my 8' round spa cover. It is very strong and has excellent solar resistance. This is a perfect way to preserve a $ 450.00 spa cover.

Heavy duty worth extra cost
I have used dozens of tarps, some the standard blue ones from hardware stores, others cheap ones, from canvas to vinyl.I live in an area at 8,000ft elevation near a ski-hill where it can snow multiple feet in a short time. This resists all snow loads in my application (which is basically just a cover for outdoor furniture)Pros:Much thicker than your standard tarp (obvious increase in durability)WaterproofHeavy - does not blow away as easily in high wind! This tarp has more brass (no rust) grommets than usual, so you can tie it down more completely.Cons:If you are moving large amounts of soil/gravel with this over concrete or another abrasive surface, vinyl does not hold up over time under those conditions, but this will still be superior to other tarps in that regard so it is not really a con for this tarp, but just all tarps in general.Neutral:Because it is so heavy duty (a plus) it also is difficult to fold or bend. This can be good or bad depending on your situation. Canvas is much more flexible while retaining durability but is not waterproof and is more porous and therefore more difficult to clean!Overview:This actually is a quite noticeably thicker material, heavier duty, and overall just heavier. I have no doubt this will hold up for many years if not decades to come. I do not regret the added expense one bit, it was worth every penny. If you are going to be leaving it out in the weather for years, it is worth the investment.Hope that helps.

Good value for multiple uses
I ordered this tarp to cover up my outdoor furniture when not in use to keep it clean. I’ve also used it as ground cover on camping trips. Have had this tarp about a year, and so far the material seems to be holding up, and haven’t noticed any cracking or tears. It’s a tarp, so the ways you might use it are endless. Mine are fairly light use, but it’s worked well for that and I think it could stand up to throwing more at it.

Extreme Duty Tarp
We use the 10x10 tarp to cover our 10x10 dog kennel. Grommets align with the top rails for easy attachment with heavy duty zip ties (not included). We do have a top panel on our kennel which supports the tarp and keeps it from filling with water. Water will puddle on top of the tarp, but doesn't leak through until months of wind and sunshine begin taking their toll. This tarp will last for months, versus the days or weeks that cheaper lighter weight versions will last in our climate. We live at 7800 feet elevation and get lots of intense sunlight, high winds, and -35 to +95 degree temperatures. Best tarps that we have ever bought. First time buying this product on Amazon, but have purchased the same product from another supplier in the past.

sturdy, good quality
It is easy to fold and work with, yet very strong.I recommend the tarp.I used it to keep my pile of firewood dry during winter and now to cover my Jeep.

Good weight one damaged grommet
Good heavy duty tarp. Unfortunately one of the grommets came damaged due to where it was folded by the machine. Will have to see how it holds up since it’s one due to placement that I need to use.
