I ordered these to replace a broken snap buckle on my camera case. I took a chance on the size, as I couldn't find it in the product description. The sizes are: four that fit a 1" strap; two that fit a 1-1/2" strap; one that would probably fit a 2" strap (slot is 1-7/8" wide); and two other pieces that must work someplace on a military back pack. I only used two of the 1" ones, but that was worth the price. Easy to install, and they snap shut with authority. I think they'll last a long time.

This set was a lifesaver. Was going to be going on a backpacking trip, when I realized I had a broken buckle. The new set came in quickly and was nearly identical to the one it was replacing. I used the other buckles on some straps for my sleeping pad. Very happy

i got these "military grade" buckles to replace the cheap plastic ones that my kayak seat came with, install was fine, they held up great my first run, on the second trip down the river i once again found myself laying down flat because the plastic buckle had broken. these would be great as an adjuster on a backpack, or anything that doesn't put a lot of stress on the buckle, but if they will be subject to hard use, you are probably better off spending the extra two bucks and going to find some metal ones

Product is definitely good, very strong. I just love hearing that sharp click when I close these buckles. Unfortunately the seller that I brought it from only gave me 6 and a half of the buckle sets instead of all 9. What's funny is that the seller unclipped all the sets trying to fool me into thinking that I have all the set because when it was all scatter there was a total of 12 and a half pieces, but when I put them all together, was far from it.

Finding this in a store is near to impossible and if you get lucky and do, its going to cost you an arm and a leg PER BUCKLE. If you are like me and you ruck has seen better days, it would be a good idea to buy a pack for that odd day your SGT has the urge to do a equipment inspection.

You can use these buckles as any replacement buckles for most packs. I had a sack that had a different size buckle and I couldn't attach an older version of the Blackhawk sacks to the three day assault pack. Two different sizes didn't fit so I ordered two sets to replace all of them to fit. They are well made and should last forever.
