I purchased this Meridian Velvet Upholstered Ottoman with X-Legs so that I would have a place to toss my extra bed pillows overnight. I was hesitant to order the pink because it looked so bright on-line. And, indeed it is bright. Perfectly bright pink. The nail heads are all well in alignment. I love it so much that I ordered a matching one for my master closet.I have read the comments that the ottoman is poorly made. I agree that it isn't the best quality - but people, you're not paying this price for "fine" furniture. It's an accent piece and well suited for that purpose.

This bench is just what I was looking for - reasonably easy to assemble (more on that in a sec) and it feels sturdy; the velvet-like fabric feels good to the touch and gives it the feeling that it's more expensive than it was. The seat is pretty firm, not something I mind but I mention it in case that's important to another purchaser. However, two issues: first, this bench is a light ivory shade and the seat portion had several places that were smudged and dirty. It must have been returned at some point and no one inspected it carefully before sending it to another buyer. I can live with the stains but I wish I didn't have to. Second, the crossbar that runs between the two X's that serve as the legs was a lot harder to attach to the legs than it should have been. The included Allen wrench handle (even the shorter end) was too long to enable a continuous screw movement - it had to be constantly re-inserted into the long screw for each partial turn, causing that part of the assembly to take FOREVER and feel especially frustrating. Surely there is a way to fix this for the improvement of the assembly experience. Had it arrived completely clean and had the crossbar not been such a bear, I would have easily given this five stars.

BEAUTIFUL….. the pictures really don’t do this piece and justice. I wanted a stool type ottoman to compliment my living room space. I purchased the chair awhile again and found this matching piece on Amazon. Shopping was fast and hassle free, assembly was very easy just three leg pieces to screw on. This piece compliments my living space very well. Talk about BEAUTIFUL…… if you are seeking to add a more classic look with a touch of jazz, this is for you.!! The material is velvet black so it’s really classy with a smooth feel.

I purchased this stool in late April and it has already broken. It's a beautiful color with great material but the sole purpose of the stool was for me to sit and do my makeup. I'm 150 and I knew from the moment I put it together and sat down the product was gonna be a waste of money. I'm disappointed the return window closed last week
