M11 x 1.5 x 130mm Reduced Long Shank Right Hand Thread Tap

Got this tap for a Ford engine block we are building, and I need to chase the threads for the head's bolts. The longer length is required, and this works great.

Manufactured very well....smooth grind on the flutes... accurate threading. Well worth the shipping period!

bought this to tap out a cylinder head broke after three threads of the first hole with less then 3 ft lbs of torque

Used it to clean head bolt threads on 03 camry. Worked perfectly.

I damaged engine block threads by over tightening the head bolt during its installation. With that tap I didn’t have to remove the head again, I simply found same bolt 1mm larger in diameter and made a new thread. Engine is happy. Much cheaper solution than what they charge for special kits.

The media could not be loaded.  当初は焼き入れ品質を心配しましたが、価格が他に比べて安価だった為、ダメもとで購入しました。購入理由はwrx-vaのリアメンバーのボルトを強化タイプへ交換しようとゆるめようとしましたが、工場組立時にすでに焼きついたまま強引に締め付けたと思いますが、800Nmまで許容のエアーインパクトでまったく緩まなかったです。手動工具で緩めた結果ボルトの山が一部崩れていました。本タップは力をほとんど掛かること無くスルスル山を補修してくれました。強化ボルトの締め付けはトルクコントロール付き電動インパクト50N mでスルスルと仮締め出来ました。最終的に140Nmで締め付けても問題ありませんでした。良い商品と思います。
