BOSCH BC914 QuietCast Premium Ceramic Disc Brake Pad Set - Front

A local mechanic replaced the front brake pads with these on my 2003 Accord. Both rotors and calibers are still originals. Even though he suggested to replace them in the near future, but overall they work together just fine and in fact the brake is very smooth and quiet.

Update: I noticed that I entered wrong information about my Honda CRV 2014 so my car is 4WD and I entered 2WD and that’s why I got the wrong front brakes. Now I entered the right information about my car and I ordered the front brakes and I hope so I got the right brakes fit my car. I will keep the review picture just to let other people make sure that they enter the right car information before they order any part for the car. This part is supposed to fit a 2014 Honda CR-V, 2 wheel drive. I did not check the pads, but the hardware is not the same as OEM and too narrow to keep from coming in contact with the rotor. See photo. Four pieces of the clean looking part at the bottom came with the kit. The soiled 2 are OEM and are different pieces in the top and bottom position. Note how much more narrow the bosch part is. Additional review commentary after comparing this bosch kit with the OEM. Many Honda parts are crazy expensive but the brake pad kit was not that bad. The Honda kit does not include any stainless steel slider parts. The parts counter guy gave me the price of the slider parts and those are crazy expensive. He said the mechanics just cleanup the old ones as they are seldom anything but dirty. I cleaned mine with isopropyl alcohol and they looked fine. The OEM pads come with overly complicated looking shims. Based on the parts removed, all pads get a shim attached to the back. The OEM pads also come with new spreader springs. The service life of the OE pads was 85,000 miles and they were not completely worn out.

Works and fits great, little bit of noise but I think thats normal when you install new break pads. Took less than 2 hours to change front and rear on my 2007 Honda Element.

El producto es excelente, sólo que a mi auto no le quedaron. En el anuncio y durante todo el proceso de búsqueda y compra, se indicó que sí eran compatibles con la Honda CR-V 2016 sin embargo, cuando el mecánico desmontó la piezas, mis pastillas son más grandes que las que me enviaron. No sé qué pasó. Ojalá que esta reseña sirva para afinar detalles en el proceso de compatibilidades.

Quedaron perfectas en mi civic Si 2012.
