simple approach for children to Alzheimer's
Alzheimer's disease can be difficult to understand, even for adults. The simple approach offered in this book is a great way for children to be able to connect with loved ones suffering from this disease. The relationship between the grandmother and grandson captures the essence of grandparent-grandchild relationships, and the illustrations are colorful and beautiful. Recommended for any family with a loved one suffering from Alzheimer's disease!

This book is captivating and explained very well about the Alzheimer's ...
This book is about a sad topic but it explained very well about the Alzheimer's disease. The pictures are very entertaining and captivating. We were drawn right into the book with the exciting story. Now I know more about this and I can help explain it to my younger brother.

Best Alzheimer’s book for kids I’ve found!
I bought this for my kindergartener to help him understand what is going on with his Grandma. He was starting to notice things and ask a lot of questions about his Grandma. I also bought several other books. This was by far the best. It explains why and what the future will hold. I am very pleased with this purchase and will help him understand everything.

Well written
I liked the way this book was written, it is more for an adult reading to a child.

Small font, difficult to read.
Font is extremely small. Description lists reading level grade 1 to 2 but I believe it’s more like reading level grade 3 to 5. Other than that, it’s well written and informative for children.

Very well illustrated and will be ok for some children
The book is well illustrated and well made but I was disappointed with some of the words cos they just referring to Alzheimer’s and I thought the book was about Dementia in general which isn’t all Alzheimer’s related, so I am a bit miffed cos my sons Grandma has vascular dementia and it’s not the same and it doesn’t help him

Fantastic book.
I read this to my son who believed Grandad no longer liked him and to help him to understand why hus favourite man was so cross all the time.Apart from my being in tears because it was such a beautiful book, it really helped him to understand that Grandad never meant to be so angry at him; that he was just frustrated and confused. My son really began to absorb the situation and it’s really helped.
