Platinum Tools EZ-RJ45 CAT6 Connectors, 100-Pieces

Connectors work well once you figure out how to do it. After a few I found I needed to strip back at least 2 inches of the outer cable cover. This made it easier to get the individual wires into the connector and in the correct order. The good is that these connectors allow you to make sure the wires are in the correct order before crimping. I had no problem crimping the connectors with a Paladin Tools WE/SS MOD. Plug, which I borrowed. After crimping I cut the wires sticking out the end with a utility knife.

I reviewed these connectors before and I'll keep this one short. These are the best connectors ever created. They cut your work time in half easily. Instead of trying to shove a wire into a regular plug and not knowing if they reached the pins or not and then trying to shove the jacket all the way into the plug, these plugs make it so simple allowing you to push the wires in and having them come out the other side guarantees that you have a perfect connection every single time. I highly, highly, encourage you to purchase the EZ RJ45 crimper though if you are going to use these plugs. You can use a regular crimper, but you need to use an exacto knife to cut off the excess cable once you finish crimping which can be a pain in the butt sometimes. I had an accident using an exacto knife one time where the knife went through my finger. These plugs and the crimper are worth every single penny.

Don't get duped into thinking that these are EZ RJ45 connectors from Platinum Tools, b/c they're not. They're cheap Chinese ripoffs and aren't compatible with strain reliefs from Platinum Tools. This product was designed to be deceitful and undercut Platinum Tools.

These came in a generic plastic bag but they used the platinum connectors picture for their 100 pack. These ARE NOT PLATINUM connectors disregard the thumbnail picture. They do not appear to be the same quality and had 1 fail out of the first 6 I tested.

I was very interested in trying these connectors out but i have to say i did not really enjoy them. The open ends will allways slide forward at some point hence it will not fit in ethernet ports sufficiently most of the times unless you have the patience to trim them every now and them. Im using normal connectors now as they are much more useful.

its so expensive and its same as RJ45 that coming from china, and it took forever to receive the items . I do not recommend .
