It's a bit of a struggle putting it together, get so.e help, would go quicker with two people. It is beautiful after it's done and my wife and daughter love it.

This thing is incredible. I've had this windmill up for six years and it's been through so many storms and major winds. I thought it wouldn't survive the storms it's been in but it's still going. Great windmill. I would highly recommend!!

The box was pretty beat up when I received it, but luckily all of the component pieces were individually boxed, and all of the parts were in good order. When getting ready to assemble yours, I recommend laying out all of the component pieces and reading the instructions. The thing is like a giant erector set, and familiarizing yourself with each piece will save much time. On that note, I will echo what other customers have posted about the instructions being a challenge. Now that I have finished, I understand them fine, but going through them for the first time, I realize the issues. The drawing showing the assembled piece is incorrect as it shows the side angel pieces overlapping each other incorrectly. Focus on the photo in the listing and the correct fig. photo in the instructions. Second, the individual parts do not have any identification (The nuts and bolts do). They should either have a letter on a sticker or parts drawing with dimensions in the instructions. An assembly video would be nice. Other than that, the quality is top-notch. The galvanization looks good, and the nuts and bolts are all stainless. For the fan's weight, I would have preferred a more heavy-duty bearing assembly but have to assume the one supplied is OK. The structure itself is substantial when all tightened, and I believe it will last for a long time.

awesome product!!! good quality!y, very sturdy!, it is 12' tall!, we bought it to put over a well casing to protect it, my husband put it together by himself in 2 1/2 hrs but 2 hands would be quicker! using common sense more than the instructions, no extra welding was necessary, all the parts were there, they sent 1 wrench which you need 2, and it was a 10mm and it took a 3/8" standard to actually fit the bolts....so the bolts went quit right, so have your own tools on hand...the packaging was great, all nuts and bolts were well packed...just take care unwrapping so as not to loss small pieces while unwrapping, we layed a Large tarp down on concret floor to put it together, that helped so as not to scratch the paint/powder coating, it is a very nice piece for the money!!!

Love it! Perfect height 12 foot, tall and shaped like a real western windmill, sturdy and well built, husband assembled it by himself and said no issues, instructions clear but would have been easier with a helper he ran 2 feet rods with 4-6 inches above the ground and bought galvanized screws and clamps to firmly secure. He also embedded cement pavers to set the legs on to prevent any damage to the structure to give longevity. Wheel always stops straight in front when wind isn’t blowing. It is perfect and exactly what I wanted it met my expectations.( I bought auto pin stripping tape to add color on wheel tips and tail and it worked great)

Looks amazing! The only thing I can complain about is the instructions. Make sure you have another person to help assemble it.

This windmill is absolutely solid as a rock and completely quiet. The wind was blowing every bit of 30 mph when we put it up, zero issues. I suspect this windmill could easily take 70-75 mph, no problem. Spend the money, read the directions, do what they say, and you'll be a happy camper. The square steel frame at the base makes all the difference. It gives a structure and stiffness you won't get from any $100 windmill. I definitely recommend it. I'd buy this windmill again and again.

The windmill is great! But had to give 3 stars because we were shorted 8 nuts and 2 of the legs didn't have the pre-drilled holes needed to attach the decorative platform. Considering I paid well over $300 for this I am extremely disappointed that items were missing or incorrect. Luckily we were able to drill the missing holes and I will be going to the hardware store tomorrow for the missing nuts. Like everyone else said, the instructions were horrible but we were able to figure it out. The windmill is exactly what we wanted, just disappointed that attention to detail was clearly missing when the company boxed it up for shipping. Had everything been there we would of rated it 5 stars.
