Fast, secure and portable.
Great external ssd drive, fantastic way to protect sensitive files. I got this as I frequently move customer data and needed a way of protecting the data should I ever misplace the drive. The drive is slim lightweight and stylish, the connector at the back is a standard USBC so even if I lose the cable like I often do it uses a standard connector therfore it's easily replaced. Data transfer is perfectly acceptable for both small and large files, in fact it’s far quicker than my previous ssd so I have no complaints about the speed. Once you setup the fingerprint recognition using the software on the SSD you no longer have to use the software, this is a winner for me as several PC’s I use this ssd drive with do not allow software installation therefore I can still access all my files on the drive without installing software. The T7 Touch is lightweight, well made and secure this is perfect for my everyday use.

Great device after fixing the Mac driver issue. Compact and light, with great security!!
Fantastic device. Small and light, so very portable. Very quick and quiet when in use so great for adding extra storage. Fingerprint sensor is great to have, but you pay a price premium for this feature versus other SSD. I had some issues with the drivers for my mac, the driver installed with the T7 didn't work so the software didn't recognise the drive when connected. Fixed this by downloading the latest driver from Samsung, and you can find a video on YouTube showing the step by step instructions. Avoid Samsung customer services, who were useless.

Very nice external SSD
Pros: The SSD can be used to store files etc. I used it for Time Machine backups on Mac and it works well. The read/write speeds of this SSD is also very fast. It is very compact and thin, and built well. Cons: On Mac the app for T7 Touch does not work and does not allow me to use fingerprint to unlock. Instead it is encrypted with a password Overall, if you are looking for an external SSD to store files and photos or to backup your Mac this is a good choice for the money.

Exactly what I needed.
To complement my 64GB iPad Air, I wanted an external SSD to be able to back up and also hold media content without using up space on the iPad. After much research, I decided that the Samsung T7 Touch appeared to be a good buy. Reasonably priced given its specifications, for me it was a no-brainer. 500GB of SSD storage, password and fingerprint security and additionally, connectors for both USB C to C and USB C to A. It is fast, copying files very quickly, and the fingerprint set up easily and works very well. Small and compact, it will fit easily into a pocket if necessary, or I have mine in a case that houses my iPad and other bits and pieces. Very pleased with it. Anyone thinking of getting one, check out YouTube for reviews and information.

Great snd light portable Samsung SSD
Great SSD. Very light and compact. For those that might complain about lack of Android support, it all has to do with the format you use. If you want Android + Windows, the only option is using exFAT format. Otherwise, if you use for example NTFS format, it will work on Windows but not on Android. A little bit pricey but is what you pay for fingerprint security. May be hot while using it intensively.

Small, but strong!
This was one of the most recommended SSDs online; and I can see why. Super small and easy to carry around with fast read and write speeds. I use mine for video editing and it has yet to have any faults.

An SSD for gaming.
T7 Touch Portable SSD - 1 TB - USB 3.2 Gen.2 External SSD Metallic Black is very easy to use, it didn't come with any software included that I could find, but, it still only allows you to utilise 931GBs in total, which is fine for me to play my PC games on. I downloaded my Payware stuff from Steam with no problems, although, if you unplug your SSD from your computer, your games become deactivated, so, maybe it's best to leave your SSD plugged in all the time, unless you need to clean your computer, or, something similar. An excellent product from Samsung, very small with a blue LED light on the front to show you when it's working. I had a small problem as the cable included with this is only a USB-C connector so I had to obtain another cable off Amazon for £11 to make my old PC recognise the USB3.2 port, which wasn't difficult, so far it's all plain sailing and I'm a satisfied gamer. I haven't done a comparison test with moving files over, with anything else, but, the files I've done so far transferred OK in no time at all, I'm happy.

Very fast - excellent
I needed a new drive for work that could be encrypted and this seems to fit the bill. I haven't used the fingerprint reader yet, but in checking it out have had transfer speeds over 130mb/s, and transferred files between 20mb and 7GB in a block of over 350GB. This gave consistent speeds, no dropout. I'm well pleased. The only slight issue I had was that I had to assign a drive letter to it at the start, but that's not difficult to do. For my purposes this is great, and even faster than the T5 drive I also have Edit: I have now had the drive over 12 months and it's still a great little drive for storing files or transferring between devices. I still have the slight issue of having to assign a drive letter in windows but aside from that no problems at all ... so far, and not wanting to tempt fate! I even bought some as Christmas presents for relatives to use as secure backup.
