The amount of dust and debris "stuck" to the fabric covering of the original filter had become extremely difficult to remove/clean despite attempts to clean with water, soap etc. and repeated use had left the white part of the filter dirty and stained. I searched for a multi-pack of replacement filters and was pleased that this set comes with 8 (vs many others I found containing only 6) and the price was comparable, if not better.I replaced the old filter with these new ones and it was a perfect fit for my B&D model hand vacuum. For this price, I will no longer have to worry about cleaning out the stuck dust/debris and will just swap out for a new one when it starts to get too dirty. If your old one matches the photo in the item description, I would definitely recommend!

I had these stored indoors and in plastic, went to grab one and the filter was completely disintegrated. They were stored for over a year but still ridiculous that they would fall apart. So four were tossed as they were useless.

Originally bought to back up factory filter, which didn’t have the “dust cup” slots! If you get these filters make sure your vac has a dust cup or you’ll need to buy one separately! These filters have holes in the base to clip on the dust cup, with out the cup the holes will allow debris to get into the motor compartment! Cost me $12 to buy two filters with the dust cup, so now I have 10 filters and two cups!!

They do works ad advertised. They do collect stuff fast and do have to be cleaned often

I love that I now have extra filters. I can then switch out and insert a new one. I try to buy extras of items, if offered, so as not to be waiting for them to be sent when needing them. These filters are a great value for the money they cost.

It didn't fit 100% smoothly in, and maybe loosing some suction from it only reason we took 1 star off. Otherwise, still picks up our babies mess. Haven't had to clean it yet. Would buy this again if it's still the cheapest option when we need more replacement filters.

For an aftermarket 8 pack replacement set for my handheld Black & Decker vacuum that comes out to under $15, you can't go wrong with these. No problems thus far. Great product and price!
