Okay, fair warning, I really like turtles. But even so, these are so great. We've ordered a second mold to double our turtle throughput. It's a much better solution than just yelling at people to not walk through the garden beds.We've made a couple of stepping stones so far. The mold released really well with or without mold release spray, and they both have really nice detail. The sprayed one (gray) has tiny bubbles, so I don't think the spray is necessary. I'm using fiber-reinforced Sakrete, and the gray one has survived use and some impromptu games with small children with no extra reinforcement. . The front fins on the brown one cracked, probably because the integral concrete color weakened it. I used Conspec chocolate brown--if you go that route, let it dry for a bit longer, maybe 36-48 hours. It doesn't matter, obviously, since he's semi-submerged in the ground. The size is really nice for stepping stones.So, basically, if you want turtle stepping stones (or just, you know, turtles), this mold will do the job, the turtles look great and are sturdy.

Head and legs break off using concrete!! Can’t get it out of mold in one piece, will have to try something else cuz it’s so cute

Love this mold despite the price. Must be cleaned btw uses EVERYTIME or it won't turn out. Must tap down or vibrate a bit to ensure material has no voids

Very think mold which is good. Must use stable table to tap and get out the air in the concrete.

This is just not right. Must not let this be sold.

Good quality, seems like it will last a while as long as it is taken care of. Turtles come out great!
