The stainless steel pot is not well made. The manufacturer’s work is shoddy and should not have allowed this pot to be distributed to its customer. If they had done a quality inspection, this product would have failed. The body of the pot is well insulated and loses very little heat from it. However, the lid of the pot is made of just a single layer of stainless steel and is absolutely uninsulated. The large spout is a design error that allows lots of heat to escape from the pot. The lid and the spout’s design defeats the purpose of the pot’s insulation. I do think that I should be refunded for such a bad product. It’s an expensive pot and the company should control the quality of the product to reflect its value.

I have been on a quest for a long time of looking for the "perfect" teapot for myself. When I saw this one, I was happy and when it got here, I was even happier. It is perfection! Never will it break and if it gets a ding in it, no problem. It will easily last me the rest of my life and I hope when I am gone that someone in my family will appreciate this pot as well and use it. I wish I had found this brand of teapots when I was a lot younger, they are very very well made, sturdy and attractive! It does not drip and it keeps the tea hot for quite awhile, although I do not let my tea sit for a long time because I enjoy drinking it every morning. As far as I know, this teapot is made in Holland and not China, which appeals to me also.

The overall design is truly classic and very appealing. The satin stainless steel blends with any kitchen appliance or home decor. Tea stays hot inside the pot for a long time, and holds enough for three or four full size cups. Buyers should note the manufacturer's instructions that this is not used on the stove--only for holding water and keeping it warm.

What a lovely little teapot, the double walled stainless steel makes it sturdy and keeps the tea warm longer than a porcelain pot. (not as long a thermos) The brushed finish helps to avoid finger prints and it goes in the dish washer. I also got the strainer that fits these teapots so when the tea has steeped (4.5min black, 4 min green, 3.5 min white) I remove the strainer so the tea doesn't end up stewed.The only tea it isn't good for are the blooming flower teas that really require glass.Perfect size for two-three people, can get one cup each for four, if you're a little stingy.

This lovely teapot is just the right size and of versatile design. It's brushed stainless finish keeps it from looking marred by a single touch and its double wall construction allows for easy handling while pouring. It is so easy to rinse clean and you can use your own reliable tea diffuser if you do not want/need a new one.It came safely packaged and arrived quickly in pristine condition. I am so very pleased with everything about it and expect to enjoy it for many, many years.

Because the lid is not insulated, a lot of heat is leaving through the lid.A little cumbersome to clean.

I bought this teapot for my husband who insists on using one though personally I can't be bothered. Over the years I have got really tired of the many teapots we have had that dribbled onto the work surface leaving stains. This teapot pours perfectly, it is a revelation. The added bonus is the double walled insulation which keeps the tea hot, and I have to admit the tea really does taste better. Win win.

After using our previous Bredemeijer teapot daily for 36 years (wedding present) we definitely wanted to replace it with another of the same brand. It keeps the tea hot for a very long time and the quality makes it very much worth the higher price.
