Waterman Expert Ballpoint Pen, Dark Red with Chrome Trim, Medium Point with Blue Refill, Gift Box

I have very expensive pens (Conway Stewart made in England, Mont Blanc) and custom made pens from various wood turners and artisans. But I absolutely love my Waterman pens. I purchased my first when I was in college and loved it, kept it safe and it lasted for years. I think at one point in all my moves I had lost it. I have several now (Black with gold, blue with silver and this wine color with silver). They write beautifully with the Waterman refills. I purchase Blue ink refills because Blue is my fav color and I like the contrast. The weight is perfect and it is balanced. It is sturdy and well made, not too heavy but not too light. For me it is the Goldilocks of pens and they last forever. They come presented in a beautiful box if you decide to gift it and they are still made in France with some I believe made in the UK. I can not confirm all parts are also made in these two countries but I hope they are. It makes a difference when true craftsman/craftswoman that know how things should work actually continue to make them. I would say I have now been using a Waterman pen for well over 30 years and even though I like many of my others, my Waterman pens are the ones that keep having me come back.

It’s a very nice pen, however, they need to have a medium point roller ball option. I don’t use the pen ever since it a fine point. If a fine point pen is your thing, you will love the pen.

I have arthritis in my wrist and using a reg. Pen is just like Scribbling ..This pen is so comfortable and has some weight to it that I am able to write better with it, not that I write perfect but it's 100% better then using a reg, pen..So glad I bought this.

Waterman still makes wonderful pens. The weight, the smoothness in holding or writing with in is greatly noted, especially if you write a lot.

I also paid an extra 47$CA to receive it(duty, taxes and handling) Didn't expect that. Came from England.

The large diameter makes it comfortable to hold.
