Nice molds, details are sharp, clear and clean.This silicone isn’t typical of this type of small “hobby” mold - deep purple, heavy and dense. I believe this is tin cured silicone rubber. Too bad the seller doesn’t specify - it’s a huge plus in my opinion. Taken care of, they should last a long time, holding the shape and details. Tin cured is strong and won’t pit or tear easily like the softer/lighter bright pink molds. They are more difficult to de-mold due to the stiffness, but just go slow.I’ve used both of these dragon egg molds with polymer clay - baking in a 275 oven for up to an hour a dozen times and they still look brand new.I don’t know how they preform with different types of resin, but I’d guess they’ll work well with epoxy resin. Too deep and dark for UV of course. Probably polyester resin as well, but I don’t understand why anyone would use polyester over 2 part epoxy or even uv resin; it’s so dangerous, so many risks.Hopping off that train and back onto this dragon molds one...just buy them ;)I’m going to search for more, immediately!
