Remote Control for RCA DTA880 Digital TV Converter Recorder Box

I chose to order this remote from China because I wanted to avoid button batteries, and this one said it took AA or AAA. Willing to wait for it. When it came I had to buy a button battery anyway. After I installed battery remote did not work. Not right away. I noticed one button was kind of sideways, and stuck at an angle half in half out of the remote. (That happened again later, and the remote won't work till you release that stuck button). Installing the battery seems to SLOWLY wake up the remote, and a couple hours later it did start working.Also important is my credit card info was stolen about a month after this purchase. This was the only non regular purchase I made in over 6 months time. I self isolate, so no chance of a card reader picking up my signal by bumping into me. So I suggest buying this remote, but from a local s USA seller.

I received the remote before the expected delivery date the thing was I had to fix the loose battery it kept losing power on the remote

That the seller kept after getting the remote from China and it did get here before Christmas. Great. Love it and will work with seller again.

This item didn't work at all and still not working. I will try to return this item as I can't get it to work. Bought new batteries to use with the item to no avail.
