## Description

ROMAN PRO-880 Ultra Clear Adhesive is North America’s best-selling wallpaper adhesive. PRO-880 is a premium clear non-staining adhesive with excellent wet-tack, extended open-time and unsurpassed ease of clean-up. It is excellent for the DIY’er as well as the most discriminating contractor. Undiluted, it will hang medium to heavyweight wallcoverings (Type II & III) and it can also be diluted for use with delicate and pre-pasted wallcoverings. PRO-880 promotes strippability in full sheets with most fabric-backed wallcoverings over bare drywall. It can be applied with a paste brush or paint roller and flows easily through a pasting machine. Not recommended for English pulp papers; ROMAN’s GH-34 is recommended. Avoid freezing; keep in cool, dry place. Each order includes 1 gallon of ROMAN PRO-880 Ultra Clear Strippable Wallpaper Adhesive (that covers approximately 330 square feet depending on application) and comes with a 1-year limited warranty. Review: Very happy! This paste does what it’s supposed to do! - I did A LOT of wallpapering years ago and promised myself I’d never wallpaper again, so here I am wall papering lol. I originally bought fairly expensive “pre” pasted wallpaper from Home Depot and it all came up OFF the walls. I pulled it all down. So, I went the route of “non” pasted with Sherwin Williams. Everyone said buy ROMAN Pro-880. First, the price is great! I feel like you really get a good deal for your money! The quality of the paste is excellent - I rolled it onto the wallpaper (not the walls.) Pure and simple, you need to follow directions (but also have a good product.). Very easy to work with Roman Wallpaper Paste and I really had no mess. Easy to clean up too! Even though you “book” the wallpaper for about 5 minutes, you still have time to move the wallpaper around for a couple minutes. This paste has a very good “grip/hold” on the wallpaper and on the wall. I had prepped the walls with primer to make the walls more adaptable to the wallpaper. Even though it says it takes about 48 hours for drying, a couple hours later everything looked “great.” Drying time is rather quickly I would say - but depends on humidity, etc……This paste is very functional and SUPER easy to work with. It’s the only paste I’ll work with!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Think this will work for gluing cardboard pieces together for crafting??**
A: It worked very well for wallpaper and I think it would do the trick for gluing cardboard together.

**Q: Has anyone removed their paper yet?  How easily did it come down?**
A: It should come down very easily, as long as the walls were clean and primed BEFORE installing the wallpaper. I have been using this product for years.

**Q: Is this humid resistant**
A: Not sure, I didn't use this in a super humid environment like a bathroom. It's held up well with normal levels of humidity.

**Q: Can i apply this directly on a wall that’s skimmed with joint Compound? Or do I need to prime first?**
A: I would prime the wall first with an oil-based primer, then apply a coat of sizing (Roman makes sizing also).  This will help keep moisture from the paste from getting into the skim coat.

I put up wallpaper in my half bathroom about a month ago with this glue and is so good. It's very well adhered and no bubbles. Is very thick and easy to use. The smell is not too strong. Definitely buy this for big project because mine was just half wall up in my entire half bathroom and I still have sooo much left
