OneidaSheraton 5-Piece Flatware Set, Service for 1

Beautiful, comfortable and classic.

I waited for years to buy quality flatware, mainly because my kids used the spoons to dig holes in the backyard. One day, I realized they are grown up, and I am still using mismatched, mystery flatware. My research led me to this pattern, and I ordered a 5 piece setting just to make sure they had a good weight and felt comfortable. They are very comfortable, with a good weight and balance. I was afraid they would too ornate for my taste, but they are not. They are very classic and understated in appearance. Some reviews seem to indicate that the modern version of this line has a large unsightly manufacturer stamp on the back. I don't think it is very big, and it won't be keeping me up nights! Highly recommend.

I wanted to be sure the quality was the same as the ones I own. I was and I am ordering more.

I have owned this set for 18 years and still enjoy adding pieces! My family uses it as our everdyay flatware and all other occasions because it's design goes so well with everything and it washes beautifully in the dishwasher! The reason I first chose this set was because of how comfortable it is to hold. I love the full rounded shape and could never go back to pieces that are flat, no matter how expensive or beautiful. Every time I have had to add extra spoons or forks, etc., the pieces blend together very nicely. Thank You Oneida! There are very few things I have owned for more than a few years that did not need replacing or that I grew tired of seeing every day.

Bought this to see if wanted the full set or not. They are sturdy (maybe even on heavy side but we like them). I think they look great, and though not had very long, they appear to be made very well. We did go ahead and purchase full 8 set w/serving units (from another site), and will keep this extra set as a backup in case of accidental throwing away / disappearing silverware issues...

Classic elegance for every day use. The shine holds through years of dishwasher use. I choose this stainless many years ago and needed to replace some of the pieces that have disappeared over the years. I love this design as much today as the first time I purchased it.

We registered for this pattern when we got married; afterwards, I found out it was actually my in-laws pattern they had chosen when they wed 20+ years prior. Great minds think alike and all that. :) However, I do agree with other reviewers--this stuff ain't made like it used to be. Mine is substantially more lightweight and the stamping is not as detailed nor as deeply impressed upon the pieces. I still love the pattern, though and it still has more heft than most flatware around today. Wish it was still the same quality though...guess I'll have to wait to inherent ha ha.

I had read all the reviews, suggesting how wonderful this pattern is. I am an MS patient with loss of sense of touch in my hands. This pattern is just what the doctor ordered! It's perfectly balanced, goes right into the dishwasher and is beautiful besides. After using one setting for a few weeks, I ordered 8 more place settings!
