Like many other's, my washer started filling even when turned off and when unplugged. We quickly turned off the taps to stop it. After looking online we saw that a part like this was needed. We purchased this one because the official LG part would not ship for at least a week. Got this one the next day.Since we had already experienced a leak in the bleach dispenser water pump, my husband was familiar with how to get to the part. Within 15 minutes he had the part installed and the machine appeared to work properly. After running a test load, it was apparent that even with this new part there was an issue with the bleach dispenser pump as it was leaking. It was a quick fix to unplug that pump and tape it up so that no moisture would get in. We were hopeful that this part would also solve that problem, but alas it did not. No great loss as I have been using Clorox Bleach Pods instead of liquid bleach for several years.So happy to get my washer up and running within 24 hours. If the part lasts that will be great, if not, no great loss since the washer is 11 years old.

Replaced this in my LG washing machine and it stopped the constant dripping into the tub when the washer was off. Very easy to replace and good value!

I have an LG washer I purchased in 2015, model number WT1101CW. My washer wouldn't stop running water, even when it wasn't washing. It was also leaking water onto the floor. This part was the fix I needed! It feels very durable and looks almost exactly like the original part. Very pleased with this Inlet Valve!

Everything was good except one of the 5 valves on this piece. The bleach dispenser valve allowed way too much water to flow through that valve to bleach dispenser via the hose. Then the drain slots could not keep up and the water flowed over the outside of the outer tub. Since this is a generic product which says it fits many washers, maybe it shouldn't be listed for my washer (and possibly others) - LG5680HVA. After having this problem and dismantling the washer to try to diagnose, I figured out the issue and he only reason this leak was happening was because valve was allowing too much water to flow. At the time, I wasn't sure if it was a part defect or design problem. After reading other reviews, I realized that many people have this same issue and most have either replaced the part with OEM or have just disconnected the electrical connection (never can use bleach dispenser). Many of these people have also given a 3 or 4 stars rating since they say they were able to get around the issue. But that is misleading since this part should not say it is a match.

IE error code corrected! Bleach dispenser started to overflow causing machine to leak. I think the values on that valve may be incorrect, but LG has also designed the BD poorly. Others with this problem have just unplugged that solenoid, the one on the left to disable the bleach dispenser. I did this since I don't use bleach. Look for the youtube video on removing the back panel on a top load LG washer to avoid breaking plastic when removing. Good luck!

For the price and what we needed, is doing its job. Tobad we haven't figured out where the washer is leaking from.

It fit perfectly into the washer; much like the other reviews, it was leaking with the bleach connected; so we also disconnected the bleach part and have no leaks. For the cost, it's worth it.

Still working after a month and I am not a handyman.

After installing I got a low water pressure code. After inspection the diaphragm was a rubber ring and the old valve was a mesh screen. China Quality. Ordered new valve from a reputable manufacturer

Ordered this to replace a broken valve on my LG washing machine. It fit perfectly, but like many of the other reviewer’s, it caused a leak under my washing machine the first time we used it. After reading many previous reviews with the same problem, I realized I needed to disconnect the bleach solenoid, and that fixed the leaking problem. We don’t use bleach anyway, so it was an easy fix for a cheap replacement part.
