I wear a fade and have gray on the sides. Hair is cut very low.** A: My sides are cut with a #2 blade, so pretty short and this product works just fine. At day #3 I had to stop using and now use only 1x a week, becasue I was afraid it would get too dark. This product is great. **Q: Do you have to use this consistently to maintain your natural hair color?** A: When I first received this product, I used it twice a week to reach the results I wanted. A little goes a long way. Afterwards, I use it once a or twice a month to maintain my results. This product works great and you can use your regular hair oil or shampoo without any effect on your desired results. Also I experienced no staining of my hands or fingers and no harsh smell. **Q: Does this work for women** A: I'm allergic to hair dye so I use my husbands and it does work. I have dark brown hair and it def. helps reduce my grey and enhances my brown hair. **Q: how long does it take to see my hair dark again** A: My natural hair color is black and I saw a significant improvement after my 3rd use. I now use 1-2x a week.
