Great little flash drive.
I recently purchased the SanDisk 256GB Flash Drive, and I have to say, it's an absolute game-changer! The compact design makes it super easy to carry around, and despite its small size, it offers plenty of storage for all my files. I love how fast it transfers data—whether it's videos, photos, or documents, everything moves quickly without any lag. Plus, it works seamlessly across different devices, making it versatile for both work and personal use. It's a reliable, high-quality product that I can count on. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a portable storage solution! I hang it from my lanyard so I can always have an easy way to swap, share large files. The usb and usb-c on each end is definitely the way forward. Plugs into anything!!

Useful, smart, slow-ish speed
The device is tiny, which is nice, and has USB-C and USB-A connectors (you can protect one port or the other but not both). Not many USB sticks have USB-C and USB-A and most of them are completely unknown brands. SandDisk is a known brand and at under 10 euro for 64Gb I believe it is a good deal.Formatted exFAT on my Mac M2 it is fully compatible with my Android tablet. With medium/large files it achieves the promised 150MB/sec read speed, but only 30MB/s write is a bit disappointing. To verify the benchmark I also copied a 7.44Gb file to it and it took 5 minutes and 16 seconds, which results in a 24MB/sec write speed.

Great - wish I'd bought it first rather than the 'Go' model
Early last year I bought the 128 GB version of this, It's great, no trouble connecting with my laptop with the USB A end, and importantly it worked flawlessly with my phone (just a Moto G54 5G) with the USB C connector, coming up in a file manager app just 1 second after plugging it in every time, and ejecting almost instantly. Some months later I decided I really needed a bigger 256GB Flash drive, and bought the SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive 'Go' 256 GB as it was flagged as being a newer and faster model - what a mistake. That was OK connecting to the laptop, but was terrible with my phone: half the time it wouldn't connect at all and have to be pulled out and re-inserted, when it did connect it took ages for the file manager on the phone to show it, and it took about half-a-minute to eject. Wondering if it was my phone with the bigger memory flash drive I eventually bought this one, and despite being 256 GB like the 'Go' one, it works brilliantly, just like the 128 GB one. Connects to the phone every time, comes up in the phone's file manager in about 1 second, and ejects almost instantly; and of course you can retract both connectors while on the 'Go' model you can only cover one connector. I really regret buying the 'Go' model first instead of this drive. Pity they don’t do this model in even larger sizes. Anyway - for me, this model and size is brilliant.

format the drive first, before using.
a small usb/type c, works well on android samsung phone, just make sure you format the drive first, then will work,i tried straight out the box, but nothing really happened until i formatted the drive, then youre good to go.apart from that, great little drive for backing up photos if youre running out of space on your phone, and was very quick, all depends if you have an upto date pc for quickness.for me was just what i was looking for.

Good, bad or indifferent?
I've always used the metal bodied Kingston SE9 Data Traveller as they are very rugged and still work despite being getting wet and even being run over by a car on one occasion, but as they are USB Type A, no use if I'm away from home and not got a converter as my phone is USB type C. These Dual Drive Flash Drives have both types of USB connectors, so ideal for those of us who frequently transfer data or images between phone and laptop. The only downside in my view, is that these are very small, and are less rugged than some others, but the data transfer rates are good and good value for money when compared to other flash drives. Always check if you can, that the chips in the drive were produced by a reputable manufacturer such as Samsung, SanDisk, Intel, or Micron, especially when the seller claims to offer massive capacity and blindingly fast transfer rates at much lower prices than the big brand names. If the price seems too good to be true, it almost certainly is too good to be true, so stick with branded makes - although you still have to look out for fakes - they don't always "do what is says on the can".
