the center portion of this is a lot smaller than expected. about a half to 3/4 inch square.

Great product for skin tear.
The silicone worked great for a large skin tear that I had just above the elbow. The temperature was 100 - 110 with low humidity. I cleaned the area where the tape would be with alcohol and I used skin-tac to ensure it did not come loose or peel. It is very flexible. My wound healed quickly. This was the best product I have used to date.

It’s not very sticky
The size is a very good size for my needs and I like how well it was padded. I did not like, however, that even with the slightest amount of lotion on skin it didn’t stick very well and ended up falling off.
