Awesome desk
I love this desk. I didn't have any problems with it at all. Came without a scratch, dent or ding in the desktop or frame, all the hardware is exactly the way it needed to be and the setup literally took my 5 minutes. The only part that took any time was unwrapping it. It unfolded perfectly, the latch was secure and easy to operate and the desktop just slid right on. Just a couple of pins to secure it and it was done. It was actually fun to put it together. Not something I would have thought I would hear myself say about a computer desk, but there's just something kind of cool about unfolding your furniture. I have been looking for something like this for quite some time. It's currently holding my 27" gaming monster monitor and my 21" baby with a bit of room on the sides for my USB hub and my speaker. If I could change anything about it, it would be nice to have a deeper desktop since I like to have my monitor a little further back. Both my keyboards fit in front of my monitor, however, and there's still plenty of real estate for my drink, my phone stand and my mouse with a huge mouse mat. It's a little tight if you're a bit excessive with your tech like me, but not at all constricting, still plenty of room for gaming. I wont be fitting a second 27" monitor on it without a bit of finagling but that's what monitor arms were invented for. This thing is solid, doesn't move at all when I'm typing or gaming or even when I inevitable lean on it without thinking. I've paid twice as much for desks that scared me a bit when I leaned on them. The shelf on the bottom is a bit thin, but I've had my feet on it for pretty much the entire time I've had it set up and it still bounces right back when I lift them up. I don't plan to stand on it, so I think it's OK for now. Can't speak to how much weight it would actually hold, I don't have my tower there, I've got an Origami laptop desk that it's using as a pedestal instead. I tinker with my computer too much to have it down there anyhow. All in all, this is a solid desk. Maybe I was super lucky with absolutely everything working perfectly, but I have zero complaints with this. I've finally found folding furniture that's actually good enough to be classified as furniture. Well done. I see they make bookshelves too, I'm now well on my way to a completely folding computer room. Couldn't be happier. The price is right and the desk is awesome, definitely recommend.

Awesome, Low Cost Desk
I bought this desk to put in a newly rented room where I had limited space, but needed a desk for my computer which is used for audio production, game development, and gaming. The desk arrived in a box and was very easy to assemble. It literally took maybe 2 minutes the first time. I was a little worried about it being too flimsy for my needs, but it was definitely solid. I love how the bottom of the desk folds out and then the top clips on and holds tough. Really quick design. Couldn't ask for more. The bottom rack is slightly flimsy, but really only slightly. I started out with my main desktop rig sitting on a side, but eventually I moved the case in the middle rack (where you'd probably normally put your feet) and put an entire other tower next to it on the right hand rack space. Both PC towers are full sized and my main rig is an absolute beast in weight as the case is built for sound dampening and basically filled with rubber and fans. Sometimes I put random other things on the left side of the rack and even if I set my feet on it with all else on there it hardly has flex. It's been over a year like this so I can say it lasts even with good weight. As far as the top of the desk is concerned it also holds good weight. I have a solid metal duel monitor stand holding two older 27" LCDs along with a full sized MIDI controller, a keyboard, mouse, audio interface, and 2 large studio monitors. No issues, sagging, movement, etc... It's solid. I'd like to state I'm only mentioning the specifics of what I have on this desk as reference for what you can easily place on this thing without issue (as far as my year of use has gone). In summary (or tl;dr) Great solid desk that's ninja fast to set up, holds weight, and looks good for at least a year. I'd be insanely shocked if this changes at all during the next 3+ years.

bought this back in 2017 and it's still an amazing desk.
I felt like i should write a review on this desk. I bought it back in 2017 and my god, i didn't know it was that long ago. I still use it as a gaming desk to this day, and it has not failed me at all. The desk is VERY durable to hold my tower on the bottom bracket and my two montors on the desk itself. Unless you trying to drag something sharp across the desk, it would be tough to make any kind of scratches. The only wear i've had on it is just the front plastic strap that runs along the front, but glue can take care of it easy (I've been lazy so i haven't gotten to it hehe). This desk took nothing to put together and it's no hassle in unfolding, and placing on the beautiful top piece and locking it in. It's a really nice desk and if you're looking for a nice size and roomy desk that's durable and can hold amazingly. This is the one for you!

Better than expected but flawed
From reading other reviews on this site, showing shipping damage, and outright bad quality, I was pretty skeptical about this desk. Even moreso because I gambled on an Amazon Warehouse Deal with a damaged box. My gamble paid off and the desk was fine. The frame was a hair bent on one support bracket, but it bent back okay, with no creaking or popping. The desktop was flawless, and fit just fine into the frame with no extra effort needed. I'm a big guy, but it was still incredibly easy to move into my room, vs my previous desk in similar size that needed two people. I checked all the welds and they're not spectacular but the thing is held together okay. The frame is pretty cheap but the desktop is a little better. Once everything is together it's pretty sturdy. I have a 32" monitor and all my peripherals on the top as well as a good sized gaming PC with 5 HDDs, and it's fine. It definitely won't fit a mid sized gaming case on the bottom side shelves, but the middle is easily big enough. The clip on back is basically there for show. It's way too flimsy to clamp down securely, and bent after a couple days. The desk was able to wiggle back and forth quite far after it did that. Alarming with an expensive PC on it! I fixed it by securing the frame together with heavy duty zip ties instead. Now it's perfectly solid, and I have no problem clipping them off and putting on new ones if I need to move the desk. This could be a potentially fatal flaw for this product if somebody is unaware of what's happening. It's okay for something to be cheap but it needs to work and be safe. Anyone who reads this review and still decides to purchase this desk would do well to do this from the beginning. The desktop is spacious, and is a decent surface with solid finishing on the edges. It's coated MDF, so it's going to be cheap. Takes fingerprints really well, lol. I wouldn't set a cold drink on it or the like. However, with my big mousemat, and a coaster, it seems to be okay. It looks okay even with a few smudges as it's not highly reflective. Cleans easily with a wet cloth. It's reasonably stout material, but I wouldn't put a triple monitor clamp on it or anything. If you are aiming for multimonitor stands, go for something nicer. If you are just looking to use multiple displays on the desktop itself though, it's plenty strong. Fill the entire width with screens and it'd still be okay. Overall it's a cheap but decently strong desk. If you get a good one, it works as well as expected. I had one kinda big problem with mine but it was easily fixed. You get what you pay for I suppose. In this case, that's not a bad thing. It was a cheap way for me to get a compact and stylish desk that didn't have someone else's wear and tear on it.

โFunctional, Sleek, and Exactly What I Neededโ
I love this origami folding desk. It was easy to set up and works perfectly for my space. The only part that threw me off a little was sliding the board into the metal frame, but once that was done, it was smooth sailing. Itโs not too bulky, fits neatly against the wall, and does exactly what I need it to do. Very practical and helpfulโdefinitely a good buy.

Great Desk, Love it. Recommended!
Alright, here is the short version. This desk is a must have for anyone who either has to move alot, or want's a convenient stow-away whenever you need room for a guest or whatever you need. VERY space efficient when folded up, but very strong when put in place as a desk. for the price, i say it's a very good product and a fair price. Long version? alright! BUILD: The material, from what i gather, is a very thick lament over wood (the corner took a bit of damage during a move, only reason i know this) so it's very sturdy and strong. It's capable of holding my 32 inch HDTV, a mount on the back that holds up my small dell monitor in portrait mode, about 20 pounds worth of electronic devices, including a full mechanical keyboard and a portable rugged armored blue-tooth speaker i use for my primary TV sound, a full 30 ounce stainless steel yeti full of whatever, and my heavy as heck elbows. on the bottom tray is my mid-tower beast PC and my heavy feet without trouble. COMFORT: It's actually a very good height, my arms are near straight when I'm sitting up and my chair is at it's highest (i am 6 foot 3 mind you) though if you have heavy elbows, be mindful where you plant them in conjuncture to your typing. my elbows, when i type, tend to hang a bit off the edge, and i get a tiny bit sore from the edge poking against my arm. either have a back of the desk mount for your computer and your keyboard further deeper on the desk, or grab some arm supports for the front you can use. FUNCTION: For MY use, as an everyday all day thing, it's very good at what it does. it handles all the weight of my electronics and work-space VERY well, and it is pretty solid on the ground. i have to REALLY stamp my foot or actually try in order to move it around. though i wouldn't try, and just make sure your legs are comfortable, whether they are on the under-tray or on the floor in front of it. if you are the type that sometimes needs a big desk, but then sometimes not, this can fold up real easy and be out of the way in seconds. very easy to clean the space as well if you need to. though for me, i have so much stuff on it, and it be a permanent desk and not be out of the way, and i sometimes have trouble sweeping under it... but then again, that is what a swiffer is for, isn't it? Overall, this is a very good desk for a very fair price, and if you use it permanently or just a temporary thing for anything heavy, this desk will serve you well.

Ive bought 3 in the past 10 plus years
These tables are amazing. Ive only had to replace them because ive moved over time and ended up having to buy others. These tables last a long time and just from basic use, over many many years, theycan wear but they hold very well and distribute weight well. Ive had a 10 gallon tank along with monitor right next to it and the table stood firm! Instructions are very quick and easy to understand maybe like 3 steps at most? It folds for storage so its amazing for that and moving. Size of the table top is huge so it fits ALOT of the stuff you might need overall and the space at the bottom is great as well. Overall satisfied. Id buy another 4-5. Great and simple desk

Origami has a winner! Truly the best option for any kind of portable/stowable full-size desk
First off, this thing comes in a really big box, just as a heads up. I quickly realized why this is. When I first received it I was worried by the damage to the outside box: there were some scuffs and dents on the cardboard, nothing too bad (and honestly in the grand scheme of things to be expected). As I began un-boxing it, I realized I had nothing to be worried about. The two parts of the desk were covered in separate boxes within the outside box. The desk top was inside of one of those Styrofoam sheets with heavy Styrofoam around the edges and corners. The desk was in perfect condition. Getting it out of the box and all its protection took longer than actually setting up the desk. All of my latches were in perfect working condition and everything snapped into place. The desk is very sturdy, not what one would expect from a portable style desk. I bought this as a computer desk to use at a temporary residence. I needed a high quality desk for my desktop computer but I did not want to invest in something I would need to assemble and then painstakingly relocate. This desk is above and beyond awesome for that purpose. Plenty of working space, high quality surfaces, portability, and a clean, open look make this thing an easy 5 stars. Summary: Pros: -Large working surface -Easy assembly -Portability -Very Sturdy -Nice open design making it easy to run wires and such -Great all around desk, especially if it needs to be moved easily. Cons (if I absolutely have to find some): -Price: I personally contemplated buying it for some time because of the price, I have since changed my opinion now that I have it. It is well worth the money, but others looking at this product might be deterred. -No storage: of course there aren't any drawers or cabinets, it's a fold up desk. However, for someone shopping for a desk that could be considered a con so I'll go ahead and mention it. Final Thoughts: I am a mechanical engineer and as such I really appreciate a good product design. Origami has really done it here, the desk is simple, functional, and still looks good. The structural design is also quite clever in my opinion. They used very simple principles of solving the problem of sturdy and foldable. A nice truss design along with strong materials gives this desk its sturdy strength in a minimalist design. Bravo Origami!

Portable and comfotable
This is a great computer desk which folds up for portability (top comes off). You just set it up - no actual assembly needed. I like the fact that it has a foot rest along with stands on both sides - you can put a subwoofer speaker or something similar on one side and your desktop pc on the other. The only thing I might have liked better is a metal top instead of fibreboard, though that would likely increase the price. Desk height is standard and should accommodate a taller person. Top width and depth is large enough to easily fit a good size printer along with a monitor if you are using a regular sized monitor, or it will be enough for a large monitor and a few extra items. Open back removes complications of wires being wound around something the wrong way. This item shipped from Canada and arrived quickly. Recommended.

Awesome computer desk
I simply love this table and is the best computer desk I have used so far. Full credit goes to the designer. Sturdy + Simple = Awesome - Very sturdy, solid and simple. - Took less than a minute to setup. - Solid steel and wood construction. Doesn't shake a bit. I used to have ikea table like this, and it would shamble even with few grams of weight. the is only one minor issue. The edge of table is bit sharp and I rest my fore arms on the table while typing (I know it is wrong) and therefore it leaves some marks. Issue can be solved bu using padding tape. I wish all other things can be made this simple and this sturdy,
