A Very Nice Value At The Sale Price

With any knife, the true story of performance plays out over time as we see how well it was tempered to a hardness and how frequently it requires a full sharpening. Having said that, this knife was razor sharp out of the box. The blade appears to be sharpened evenly and the taper to the handle is even. The G10 handle feels great in the hand. The handle has a decorative rivet that adds a nice touch at this price point. If first impressions mean anything, I would say that you would be hard pressed to find a chefs knife that presents with this level of quality for a lower price than what I found here.

Excellent, top line in the factory where made.
I bought a "used" damaged in shipment knife. All I needed to do was polish the handle slightly. Great bargain. The Damascus is just to add a little flexibility to the AUS-10 and add to the stainless properties. AUS-10 needs to be dried by hand, not air dried to stay stain free. Overall excellent knife, very hard core steel for cutting edge. If you are not good at knife sharpening buy a 13-15 degree diamond wheel electric sharpener. These are not easy to sharpen by hand if you allow then to get too dull or don't know what you are doing.

Wrong steel alloy etched on paring knife; other comments
The Ad on Amazon specifies AUS-10 steel alloy. The etching on the knife received says VG-10 steel alloy. The ad must be corrected to show the proper alloy of the knife.The handle is heavy with the balance point of the knife behind the bolster.The knife is sharp and cuts paper effortlessly. It is too soon to tell whether the knife will retain a good edge and whether the alloy prevents the formation of rust.

These Rust - really? Kitchen knives in 2020 rust?
I liked these at first - they looked great, sharpened nicely, felt good in my hand but then they got rust stains in the dishwasher. Nothing else is rusting in there - just these. So Maybe I shouldn't put them in the dishwasher - but that's not how I run my kitchen... everything that gets used gets sterilized in the dishwasher at the end of the day. These don't appear to be made of the right material for that. Surprised and disappointed.
