Easy solution
Simple install, and it just works. I am using a B&G NAC3 there was no configuration to speak of, you just followed the instructions to pair the remote to the BT1 and then you can steer your boat from any spot on the boat.

Excellent convenience upgrade
Great product; only downside is the poorly thought out strap which consists of a bizarre collection of a wide nylon adjustable strap, a carabiner, and a tiny thread-like device that is apparently meant to attach the main strap to the fob.Works with my NAC-3 a/p, contrary to what one reviewer incorrectly stated. It's a great upgrade for many styles of boating. In large slow moving boats like mine we almost never hand steer once we are on course and away from obstructions. Being able to relax in the pilot seat without having to reach over to the a/p controller to make course adjustments is huge.Installation was easy, just plug it into your N2K network. The pairing process is a little painful, requiring you to power cycle the receiver while button mashing the fob. Apparently it didn't occur to anyone that individual N2K devices can only be power cycled either by unplugging them from the network, or powering down the entire network. So you either kill your entire data network or you will need a second person to assist with the pairing.

One Star
Incompatible with NAC3 autopilot.

A must have for convenience
Most convenient device on the boat. The good:Integrated with zeus3 and NAC3 autopilot allows control, anywhere on the boat, of specific headings like dodging crab pots, avoiding oncoming paddle boaters, making direction intentions known before re-engaging navigation on the autopilot.Easy set upEasy useNot so good:Using it to change thru 40+ degrees is tedious and slowThe supplied strap breaks too easily. Replace with something stronger and add a floaty

Short lived
Great when new but have had 3 of these fail after about 18 months each (which, to add insult to injury, puts them out of warranty. )
