Schaum's Quick Guide to Writing Great Research Papers 2nd Edition

Though I purchased this from Amazon, I first saw this book in the campus bookstore and thought it would be useful reference for students writing research papers. The graduate students who have used this reference for writing research papers or theses have told me it was very useful. After reading material these same students wrote before and after using this book I can attest that their writing improved (hopefully as a result of the material presented in the book). The suggestions presented by authors for organizing thoughts and constructing the paper are very helpful to those who lacked sufficient training or experience writing basic and more advanced material. I recommend this book to any student (or instructor) looking for some basic, practical information for developing a paper that is well written.

I had to get this book for an English class I'm taking. Since I'm a college student, I don't have a ton of money, so I was looking to get this for as cheap as possible. After looking around on other used textbook sites, I ultimately ended up choosing to buy it through Amazon because it was what best suited my needs. The book arrived in great condition, I've been using it for a little under a month now and I've got no complaints! :)

This BOOK is AWESOME is explains everything simply. Things that I would have overlooked are outlined so clearly!!! The one challenge with the BOOK is that I have LOST it to my HUSBAND who found it so interesting and informative he has invited me to purchase my own. Hmmm!!!! *Smile*

This book was a life saver. I haven't been in school for several years and had never written a research paper. Without this book, I do not think I would have been able to write one.

I did not have any examples of this band in my collection, and it has quickly achieved the stat us of being a favorite!

This book gives a great helping hand with research papers. In this book, are all of your do's and don'ts for writing research papers.

I was a little disappointed. Not great on APA style, which is what I bought it for. I had to find a different resource for it.
