Q: Is this the same oxy 10% sold here with a new packaging??

If this is the old packaging you're referring to, then yes, but as someone who purchases this regular I can say it hasn't been in this old package for at least a year: http://i.walmartimages.com/i/p/00/31/07/42/02/0031074202580_500X500.jpg This is still just 10% benzoyl peroxide oxy face wash. This is not the face cream in case that's the confusion.

Q: When It was asked to be left overnight I was referring to the rapid spot treatment not the face wash. But either way can it be left overnight?

Well, the face wash can be left on overnight, but as I've experienced, it may dry your skin out significantly. This also depends on your skin type, and the season of the year, but I would reccomend using it 2-3 times a day and leaving it on for about 15 minutes at a time. For the rapid spot treatment, I can definitely be left on overnight. Hope this helps!

Q: Just wondering why the item pictured said 6.5 oz and the ones I received were 5.0 oz?

Could be that one pictured reflects a bonus size that adds a bit more free to the regular amount. Could also be variations in size by manufacturing plant or date produced.

Q: Will this work efficiently if I have a short beard?

I am pretty sure it will but I think it'll work best if it was bare and keep in mind, it can probably lighten the hair color
