This book by Barry Stagner is one I highly recommend. It is an excellent tool in the hands of a griever. Barry is a pastor who truly "gets" the pain of things like divorce and depression. He understands the challenges a person goes through while dealing with grief and loss. He shares an understanding that is uplifting, compassionate and encouraging. Dancing With The Scars gives great spiritual and practical advice on how to cope when faced with pain and adversity. Barry gives his readers hope that their wounds can be dealt with in such a way that they can find healing and a way to move forward from their pain. The author reminds us that though no one goes through life without being wounded or experiencing pain, it is possible to not only survive, but to thrive and to learn to dance with our scars. This is well written book, when I pick it up I could not put it down stayed up all night to read it touch my heart an soul. I've passed on to someone else to read. An when I get it back will read it again. I LOVE IT !!!

Coming from a background of childhood trauma I was completely moved by how gracefully and thoughtfully this and other traumatic issues were addressed. It's always a bit surprising how much more there is in me that needs to be healed and made whole and this book has blessed my heart, mind and emotions in a new way. I couldn't put it down. When I turned the last page I found myself turning back the pages to begin reading it all over again. I highly recommend this book.

Was a very insightful and encouraging. Mr. Stagner has a unique way of writing that makes you feel you are having a face to face conversation. Enjoyed the book very much, and intend to read it a second time..

This is so badly written I could not read it. Disjointed is my best way to describe it.Perhaps if people believed God and not the world they would be a lot better off."Space" is impossible nonsense and evolution is monkey business. We are on a flat stationary earth and we are created by God. The KJV Bible is literal and true. Believe God and not the world that rejects God.
