Exact replacement.
Works well, keep the old one for location of bends. Little bit harder ro bend, but that is nature of that ribbon. All good in the hood.

Does what it meant too
Recently cleaned my PS4 and followed a tutorial but I dumbly didn't realize my cable was different to the on on the video and I accidentally broke it which then caused issues with my PS4 (was continuously trying to update and wouldnt let me do anything else) ordered this in hopes it would fix it- which it did. Good delivery time and easy to install.

Fixed PS4 update issue
I kept getting error code su-42118-6 when attempting to do the playstation 10.70 update. Tried deleting the update and doing it in safe mode....Disconnecting everything.... getting absolutely nowhere. Discovered this ribbon may solve the issue and it worked! A tight fit mind you but it certainly has done the trick.

Fixed issue
Couldn't complete update 10 on PS4. Found out the drive ribbon was the issue. So ordered a replacement from this seller. It arrived quickly, in great condition and fixed the issue. Very happy.

Fixed my PS4 - no more issues!
Was having problems with the disc drive in my PS4, ejecting randomly, not updating etc. Read the ribbon cable was sometimes the culprit. Bought one as it was by far a cheaper option than trying to find a replacement disc drive. A bit thin compared to the original and a bit awkward to bend but once you've got it in, bingo! One fixed PS4 and one happy customer!
