Bought used from "good_clean"
I order items for my friends who are afraid of online buying & again saved a grandmother $s by letting her pick out a "good" one that turned out to be a "like new" replacement for a lost game for less than 1/2 the price of new ones. The older materials are better than newer ones. This thrills her & keeps a family playing a constructive game that promotes communication and comprehension:)

Scrabble with a twist
My husband and I can play this every day and still find it interesting - 3D adds an interesting strategic element. If you like Scrabble but get annoyed by the smarty-pants players who know all the tricky words, then this game is for you. I'd almost call this Scrabble Light, but it's more complex than that.

Better than Scrabble
Hours of enjoyment. More exciting than Scrabble. Chalenges the thought process far more than other Word Games

Retro for sure
Retro from the 80's but packaging could have been better and tape not placed directly on the box itself so the paper ripped off when removed. Also original box was well used as per expected though just had to reinforce the corners with tape

Absolutely love this game
Absolutely love this game. I've been a scrabble player for a long time but the added challenge of the vertical dimension is what attracts me to UpWords. As I age I will keep playing this game to keep my brain sharp. This particular version is my preferred as the tiles are much larger than some other versions. Smaller tiles are difficult to handle. This one is my first choice.

Not happy with the product
Smaller board than expected and difficult to submit large words. I gave as a gift and we were rather disappointed during our play. For the expense I would not have purchased.
