Long/strong enough to put multiple things on
This is a good extension especially if you want your scope sit high. With this I am able to put my red dot and back up iron sights with no problem.

Great item, good price and well made!
I think this is a solid piece. Light weight sure but who wishes to add additional unnecessary weight to their rifle? Bolts could have a better finish but they are sturdy! You will not be disappointed.

Bolts obstruct use of iron sites
This rail attaches to the rifle’s rail with through bolts that cross from one side to the other above the rifle’s Picatinny rail and block the use of the iron sites. It allows the scope to be raised up and moved fore or aft, but the view under the mount is obstructed.

Great in Some Applications
This is a well made piece of gear BUT it requires a long Pic Rail (About 6-7 inches) and has only two clamping points.

Excellent as a Nagant or SKS cantilever scope mount. Look!!
This is EXCELLENT - replaces the SKS $85.00 cantilever shell deflector and scope mount and saves you $60.00 - its excellent! Look at the picture how it moves the scope to within 3" of the eye and also comes over the shell ejector? There is something almost exactly the same for sale that is $84.99 here on AMAZON - get this!!
