Review: Gets the job done! - Perfect replacement seat for balance bike or Strider peddle bike. My son got a used Strider peddle bike from his cousin and the bike itself looked good but the seat was in shambles. I was so happy to find an affordable replacement on desertcart. The color is true to listing, fit perfectly on the bike, it is quality and durable -I think more so than the original which is great considering that one was so damaged. It is lightweight and doesn’t add too much to the bike. Would purchase again if needed.
Review: Good - Didn't pay attention and got the XL post, I'm very long seat post, works if your kid is bigger and you can adjust it up to fit their height, but it still sticks out the bottom a ways for my 3 year old and too tall for my ,1 year old, might cut the tube down so it won't be an issue. Other wise it's solid and genuine. The fault is on my part for not reading description

**Q: Is this seat padded? The one that came with the bike is plastic and really uncomfortable. How is this one?**
A: @Christina: Yes - this seat is padded. My daughter loves it. She has been riding her Strider since she was 2 yrs old and is still riding it over 2 yrs later (along with her "pedal bike"). The extended seat really gave it a lot of extra use.

**Q: diameter of seat post**
A: I believe it's 22.2 mm in diameter. Strider company can confirm this.

**Q: We need to replace the seat that came with the bike, but my kid still uses it at 12". Can you use this one that low?**
A: Yes.  I just tested it.  Dropped the seat within three inches of the clamp and the post does not project far enough under the bike to hit the ground.  Hope this helped.  By the way, my daughter rode her Strider bike for two years.  When it came time to move to a "big person bike" she rode it without any trouble.

**Q: How easy are the seats to interchange? we want to buy this for our almost 2 year old, but i know my very tall 3.5 year old will also want to ride it.**
A: This taller seat can be used for both kids. My kids both used this (ages 2 and average height & 5 and tall at the time) and we just adjusted the height.
