Great little light for the deck. The battery was charged when I got it, so it was lit the first night. Every day the sun shines on it preparing for the night. The light cycles in color. Would have been nice if you could select a single color besides just white. I've only had it a month, so we will see how long it lasts.

It is absolutely beautiful during the day and incredibly cool during the night!The top features a removable waterproof solar panel that charges during the day time. Just place the panel in direct sunlight and set the switch inside to whatever setting you want at night. You can turn it off completely, set it on a solid color (clear) or set it to rainbow color change. I found the switch a little confusing, but when I finally moved it to the right or left over the rubber, my unit worked great. I set it up to the rainbow function and it is soooo beautiful at night and I love to watch it!The outer shell of the globe is a million tiny pieces of iridescent rainbow glass in a mosaic pattern. It is truly lovely to look at during the day. This whole unit is waterproof and you can leave it outside in the garden in whatever weather. If you are worrying about it, you can easily remove the top solar panel and bring it inside during harsher weather. 5/5 stars for value, beauty and design!If you have any questions please post below and I would be happy to answer!
