Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice Black Tea Bags, 50 Count

One of my favorite bag teas! And I am a tea snob. In the morning the cinnamon is a wake up and energize. The smell is amazing. Cinnamon can help you regulate blood sugar (not a problem for me personally, I just love cinnamon), and we know that tea has wonderful benefits for immunity and long term health. It is my perfect morning caffeine without ripping my stomach apart with coffee. I can't recommend this tea enough. It doesn't burn or anything. It's the perfect amount of cinnamon. In the morning it is just the right thing to be present and mindful. Smell the cinnamon in the tea, feel the warmth of the mug, sip the tea and feel the sweet cinnamon flavor. Be present and enjoy your cuppa and some serenity. It just infuses you with a wonderful energy for the day. Being a nurse I need that. Oh! I also don't need any sugar or honey (although I put a tiny amount of manuka honey for extra immunity) because of the natural sweetness of the cinnamon.

These are delicious; however, compared to the tea sachets, these tea bags are quite mild. I prefer the tea sachets, but I am pleased with these! It was easier to share these with coworkers without feeling weird giving them a loose tea sachet. All of my coworkers liked the tea, too! I’ll probably buy these to keep at my desk and to share with people and then buy the tea sachets for home use!

Í have only become a hot tea drinker recently, and I asked ChatGPT for some suggestions. Harney and Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice Black Tea was among the recommendations and as a fan of cinnamon I decided to try it. What a delightful, delicious choice! This stuff is *sweet* without a single grain of sugar in it! As a diabetic, I am thrilled. Apparently their specific blend of spices gives the sweetness without the calories or disruption of blood sugar that comes with actual sugar. This tea is good with or without milk. I am so glad to have discovered it and it has already become a permanent fixture in my tea cabinet.

Just got this box of Harney & Sons with orange and white tea bag containers: Hot Cinnamon Spice Tea (cinnamon orange black tea with a hint of cloves). Love it!!! Used 2 bags in my big 26-28 ounce mug (just one bag was strong enough to fully flavor that amount of water, but I decided to add the second bag to see what a very strong cup would do, and the flavor and spice heat did get bigger but stayed balanced and true without becoming too much spice heat), and the flavor is perfect!! Very balanced flavors. The cinnamon is spicy like red hots candy cinnamon, it gives a slight tingle to the tongue and throat as you drink it but not too hot or spicy (I can barely handle mild salsa, so this is not too hot spicy for me at all ... just a tiny bit of heat right as you drink, the tingle/heat disappears quickly but leaves a hint of cinnamon/clove flavor). Not much orange flavor in it, it just has orange peel, and it has more smell of orange than flavor, but it is slightly there. The main two flavors are black tea and cinnamon, the orange and cloves you probably couldn't pick out if blind tasting it, but they give a more rounded flavor than just cinnamon black tea...it tastes more complex without being able to put your finger on it. This would be a great tea for a base for holiday drink concoctions/cocktails. I can see repeat buying this one a lot and never getting tired of it. UPDATE: I bought this tea again and got it September 2020. This is a much weaker version of the cinnamon tea!!!! The individual packets holding the teabags are a different design and colors, they are orange and brown instead of the previous orange and white packets I loved up above. This batch is so weak I have to use 2 bags to get half the flavor of one of the previous batches bags. It is the red hot cinnamon flavor that is lacking in this orange and brown tea packets, barely any red hot flavor...the rest of the flavors taste about the same: the well rounded black tea, cloves, tiny bit of cinnamon and if 2 bags used a tiny bit of throat tingle but no tongue tingle now, and barely any orange peel still. Its still the best cinnamon tea I have had, but it is so weak it can easily be forgotten and not reordered for a very long time. Now I'm not sure which is the regular strength flavor of this tea: the strong good red hot cinnamon tea in orange n white packets or the very weak barely there cinnamon flavor orange n brown packets.

My daughter and I host lady tea parties and at some point, a friend suggested that we try "Harney & Sons" teas. I bought the multi pack - as they have so many flavors.... but my all time favorite is the Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice flavor. I have an entire tea rack filled with various teas... but every time I want a cup of tea... I seem to pick this particular brand and flavor... so it's the one flavor I am buying over and over again (and just letting the other flavors sit in my tea rack.) In fact as I write this review, I am drinking a hot cup of this Hot Cinnamon Spice tea. The smell is authentic cinnamon. The flavor is truly perfect for a cold winter night. This particular box is the best value I can find for the number of packets that are in it and I honestly haven't purchased it anywhere other than Amazon. So I have now purchased this particular box many times (from Amazon.) I highly recommend this brand of tea, and in particular, this flavor. 5 stars for sure!

I assume the sweetness came from the sweet cloves, I normally take my tea without sugar, so the sweet and spicy was not to my liking.
