I bought this for a friend who does a lot of wood burning. I’m not sure exactly but in one of the photos the box does say made in Sweden.

How do I go about sharpening this after several uses?

Simple File at 45 degrees seems to keep mine working .

People keep saying that it only works on short lengths of wood. It would be very helpful to know what "short" is? and long of a piece will *not* fit?

These will cut up to 14" pieces of wood.

how long of a piece of wood will it handle?

It can only handle wood up to 14 inches, and even then, it couldn't split them well at all. I ended up returning it -- big disappointment.
