Load Eco Clean Dishwasher Detergent Powder 2.5 Pound (4018), Unscented, 80 Count

Best detergent I've used in a long time. Much better than any tablet, including Cascade ultimate or completes. Until now I was either forced to rinse everything before loading in the dishwasher to the point I might as well have washed them by hand, run them through the rinse cycle several times, load the dishwasher halfway full, run half the dishes two or three times through the dishwasher or wash/dry them while unloading.First load I only needed to put a scoop in the pre wash and a scoop in the regular wash dispenser (no rinse aids) and the glasses came out clean and spotless, dishes free of soap scrum/food particles and no dry/stuck food on any pots or pans. Previously I have tried virtually every combination of wash cycle, detergent, rinse aid, measurement combinations I could think of with most often less than satisfactory results. Until now I simply had to use a powder detergent with rinse aid in pre wash and cascade completes in order to get dishes that were not an embarrassment to serve guests on.I'm sold and this will be my first product I'm ordering from Amazon on subscription moving forward.Simply stunned and impressed!!!

I love that this is such an eco-friendly product-a small package, recyclable packaging and earth friendly ingredients, but on the downside it just doesn't clean as well as the grocery store cleaners. I live in California, so all of the dishwasher soaps you can buy here do not contain phosphates, which some people say cause the soaps to not clean as well. I've not had that problem, but did with this soap. I bought the laundry soap by Savvy Green and absolutely adore it, and was hoping I'd feel the same about the dishwasher soap. Alas, I'm not sure I'd buy it again.

This detergent works fine, so I keep purchasing it. Sometimes there's a white residue on some of my dishes, and I've had to rewash Some dishes/bowls that still had remnants of food stuck to them after washing. I admit I don't use a rinse aid most of the time (and when I do, it's white vinegar). I like the packaging, which is "a reusable, recyclable bag." I have not reused the bag, but I have recycled it - it's a #2 recyclable container.

I had been using eco cover tablets but based on price and the fact that eco cover tablets are individully wrapped I thought it might be less waste to try this product and its cheaper. I am overall satisfied with this soap but I have noticed that for heavy duty loads it really doesnt do the trick. I have also had some loads with residue which is disappointing as I never had that issue with eco cover. Haven't decided if I will purchase this again or keep searching for the perfect eco dishwashing soap.

I generally do not like powder dishwashing detergent. But I was looking for an affordable green dishwashing detergent and stumbled upon this product. I visited the products website and really liked their story and the fact they were a US based small-business. I was sceptical that this product was going to be as good as advertised. But it is! You use such a small amount and your dishes are spotless..... with no soapy residue spots left from most powder detergents. I like the fact that this is a truly environmentally friendly product and that I am supporting a small business. I would definitely recommend this product to anyone... try the laundry detergent too! It's as fantastic as the dishwashing detergent.I will be a faithful purchaser of Savvy Green products!

Just as much as I love the Savvy Green Laundry Detergent, I love the Dishwasher Detergent. One little scoop in the dishwasher dispenser and the dishes come out clean and sparkling. These products are excellent, not only because they work, but because they are eco-friendly, the packaging is recyclable and none of the company's products are tested on animals. Such a little bit goes a long way and the best thing is that it really works.Best new products, at least for me, that I've found lately.Highly recommended!

This works great with no rinsing and no spots. I was using one that was more expensive and did not work as well. So glad I found this one.

I switched to this after using BioKleen liquid for several years and then moving on to one of the brands of detergent pods (which obviously escapes my memory). I was skeptical about using powder.This stuff works beautifully in our Kenmore. The dishes are clean without pre rinsing. Okay, sometimes the dog helps with that. But they are really clean AND the inside of the stainless washer is sparkling clean. No spots, no crusties.My husband, who informed me he wouldn't use detergent that didn't come in pod form because it was "too complicated" uses this stuff. One scoop and pow - clean dishes.
