These provide a great flame that is flickering feel. Makes me patio look quite cozy and provides a great look for it. They're great for the price. I will update this review once they burn out so I can gauge how much longevity you get for the price. I'm hoping they last as long as other LED bulbs that I have purchased.It's easy to transition between the different modes by flicking them on and off. They do exactly what they say.I would repurchase! Especially if they end up lasting for a while.

While you can't really take a good pic or video with the right exposure to show what these lights really look like in real life, trust me when I say they look great. There are 3 different settings you can use simply by turning the light on and off quickly. The flickering flame light gives a nice, fiery feel without the danger of a flame. No, they don't look exactly like a real flame but that's ok. Being LED's, they're also cool to the touch when operating, which is great for my small children who like to change the settings. I bought these for Halloween decorations but am planning on leaving them up year round for the ambience they give off in my living room.

Neighbors though about calling the Fire Department. These things look great.I have two, on the same Auto Switch, and seem to have a hard time keeping them synced.They are supposed to turn back on in the same mode they were in when they were turned off.Mine get out of sync with each other. Still trying to determine if it's something with the bulbs, or the switch.But as far as the flame effect goes - it's great when they are actually in that mode.

The media could not be loaded. I was a little disappointed by the "flame". I've seen other flame imitating light bulbs that look more realistic than this one. The bulb itself is a little on the big side, just barley fitting.

I use these bulbs in our family room fireplace in lieu of an actual fire. The 2 bulbs sit behind some arranged firewood. Very nice for background while watching TV. Not a perfect fire effect, but still decent and very appropriate for our purposes.I use the bulbs with a Kasa Smart Plug to control through an automatic timed on/off or direct control by our smart phones.

I bought this to improve the looks of the lamp post at our front sidewalk. It looks so real that I''m now looking to add another lamp post to incrtease the the warm presence to night visitors. It lopoks so good driver-bys slow down to look and admire. It's well worth the cost and I look forward to turning it on every evening.

Update- so it turns out these are truly great bulbs! You just need to not leave them on for days at a time! Once I turned them off for a while and then back on they work great again! I’ve had no problems with them sinceThey were great when I first received them but now a week later they are only flashing on and off, no flame look to it at all anymore. Pretty disappointed

Neither of the 2 worked, one had a wire loose and was dangerous. terribly thin poor plastic. returned.
