It works! It automatically was detected by my 2012 VW Touareg TDI
This preprogrammed sensor worked properly and was automatically registered in my vehicle. Make sure your vehicle is in the list to guarantee compatibility and trouble free operation. Not sure how long will the battery last but will keep you updated.I had purchased another Brand of sensor that was supposed to be preprogrammed and it just didn't work.

Work GREAT on Jeep jl!
They seem accurate but they also seem to bounce around a little bit. Look, these things work great on my jeep JL. If you decide to get these I had them installed at discount tire for $40 so this is a much better deal than the OEM/factory ones or even better than the one sold by discount tire and other outletsThey seem accurate but they also seem to bounce around a little bit. Lasted about 3 weeks.
Got it installed and it turned off my TPMS light after driving for less than a mile. Unfortunately it only lasted about 3 weeks. Now it works intermittently. Sometimes it works, but for the most part it shows "--" on my display. I decided to buy just one, since I was skeptical of its performance due to the low price. Since it has so many good reviews I resigned to the fact that I received a lemon. Nonetheless, I will try my luck with another brand, as I tried to return it, but the return window is closed. I contacted the manufacturer, since they advertise, I believe a 3 year warranty. They reverted me back to the Amazon return process, but the window is closed. So no help from them.

Sensor(s) works as it should but beware of proper fitment
Be careful, the guide used by Mobiletron to identify the proper sensor for my 2008 Audi A6 Quattro stated that it should take the TX-S001 so that is what I purchased. After installing them and bringing the system back on-line they just would not work. I had several garages check for a signal from the sensors but none of them could get one. Then a guy from Tires International tried a different Audi model (an A8) and was able to get them to read. Eventually I looked at an application chart that Mobiletron has on their website, this showed that Audi used two different TPMS sensors. I checked the OEM part number on the ones I removed from my wheels and, of course, it turned out to be the "other" one. So I ordered 5 (one for the spare) of the TX-S003s, installed them and the system came right up like nothing was ever wrong. I am in the process of trying to get a refund for the TX-S001s but that seems to be going slowly. So, if it wasn't for Mobiletrons application chart which identified the correlation between OEM numbers and their part numbers, I might have had to resort to buying a more expensive sensor which may have given the same problem. The underlying issue was with the online application not directing me to the correct part but that won't necessarily be an issue with other makes/models.
