I did add a piece of tape to the inside of the bottom to make sure they stayed flat which was no big deal. They are colorful and just what I was looking for. I thought the price was very good too for 12 boxes. I added a small scroll, a couple of chocolate coins and a few life savors per our theme of being on a desert island. There was room for any lesson papers if folded and even a sturdy handle for carrying. The next week we asked the kids what we studied the week before and the first thing they mentioned was the treasure box.
