Picture shows only black. Any ideas where I went wrong?** A: Make sure you turn camera on in stereo settings first. I had to cut the white wire to make the picture come up for some reason. It works now. Strange because I tried 2 other cameras to troubleshoot and they worked fine. Put this back on and cut white wire and project done. **Q: Will this camera hook up to a CD player with a 7" display?** A: If it has camera capabilities yes I have it on my pioneer hooked to a swatch so I can turn it on and off when I want to so I can see my trailer while towing not just backing up **Q: When this is connected to camera ready Sony Radio with display, will it turn on automatically when vehicle is put in reverse or do you do it manually?** A: When I plugged this into the wiring already run to the licence plate area of my truck, it worked perfectly. I did not have to do a thing. When I shifted into Reverse it worked. I am impressed given the cost and would not hesitate to recommend this product. I have an alpine aftermarket in a 2007 dodge Ram **Q: what is a good front license plate sensors for parking, appreciate sosmething simple that will work** A: Having the same issues... ## Frequently Bought Together - License Plate Frame Backup Camera Night Vision Car Rear View Camera with 8 Bright LEDs 170° Viewing Angle Waterproof Backup Camera Vehicle Universal Reversing Assist Security - Upgraded Version Thickened 34FT/10m Backup Camera RCA Video Cable,RCA Male to Male Plug Car Rear View Parking Backup Camera Video Audio Extension Cable with Detection Trigger Wire - Nilight 480PCS/80 Pairs T-Tap Wire Connectors Self-Stripping Quick Splice Electrical Wire Terminals Insulated Male Quick Disconnect Spade Terminals Assortment Kit with Storage Case, 2 Years Warranty --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hu/products/172392386-night-vision-license-plate-frame-car-rearview-camera-8-infrared](https://www.desertcart.hu/products/172392386-night-vision-license-plate-frame-car-rearview-camera-8-infrared) --- *Product available on Desertcart Hungary* *Store origin: HU* *Last updated: 2026-11-08*
