BLACK+DECKER PS2000BD Prep & Blend Multi-Chopper, Black

We were given a similar (slightly smaller, slightly less powerful. motor) chopper by Ninja, and it's been great. So great that having just the one bowl was annoying, since I cook a lot, and chop a lot. When I looked into a spare bowl, I found for $15 more I could buy this brand, which came with a larger bowl, and TWO bowls. And the bowls are "nestable" - well, sort of, they fit into each other just a little bit, and had lids allowing for storing. And the motor had two speeds, so an 'upgrade' all around.That said, I like it, it works well, but... the lid is astonishingly top heavy, and no matter how I try to position it on top of the bowl, I can't just push the button, I have to push down on it to form a better "seal" and then the buttons work. Having to push down seems to be a design choice around "safety", but other choppers on the market don't care. The Ninja one only works if sitting on top of the bowl, but requires no downward pressure to work once it is doing so. I found that just annoying enough to ding this on the review. Plus, while I appreciate the stronger motor, there's just no reason it's THAT much heavier.

Revised-it works fairly well. You just have to make sure the top is on just right for it to work.Just bought it. Pulled out to use for the first time to grind graham crackers. (Easy right?) everything started out great when I check to see if they were all crushed up they were just a few pieces not crushed up. So I went to turn it back on for a second and it doesn’t turn on. Seriously!!! If it can’t even work once how are they even selling any???? So frustrated and disappointed!!*****update it started working again and then stopped again. It’s seems to work randomly. 😒

I had a smaller version of the appliance for many, many years. When it quit working, my husband found this one online at Black and Decker. It was bigger--much bigger, but I love it. It works even better than the last one and includes an extra container in case I want to store one and use the other for something else. Love it. Thank you.

softened cream cheese, down to liquids works really good. I was chopping olives pitted, and it seemed to mince them more than chop. Easy to clean, dishwasher safe except top, which is easy to wash with a wet dish rag.

This Black and Decker Prep and Blend is well made. Although it's a little heavy it works wonderfully within seconds I have my onions chopped and am ready to cook.

Too heavy, the top feels ur carry a dumb bell.
